I vote most players are nits!

I won't argue that....Personally, I think gambling is overrated. And I also think that too many people play pool for the wrong reasons.

I'll play the occasional race to five or seven for a small amount to "make it a bit more interesting" but the truth of the matter is that my finances are managed too closely for me to risk losing much. I play pool because it's fun, and a personal challenge first and foremost.

I sock money away in my 401k (where it will grow and I can't easily get to it), I have two mortgages, a car payment, a wife and a five year old... And an excellent credit rating. Way too many responsibilities and others depending on me for me to be irresponsible. Money comes too hard to do things with it that can make it go away too easy.

Call me a nit, I don't care.

There should be software that blocks any post after 12 midnight until you confirm after 8 hours.:D

I have needed said vaporware.:o

For someone who repeatedly hops into a ton of threads barking at people of playing maybe you should move if you aren't getting action where you currently live or maybe travel to play people?

I'll go anywhere to play. Always have.

Not gonna lie. If they made this shirt, I would buy one.

But only if it's very, very inexpensive.

I am not one of them!

This kind of comment always cracks me up. Are you saying that most gamblers are nits or most players? Because if you're complaining about people who never gamble not want to gamble with you than you're just banging your head against a wall.

Now if you're talking about people who do gamble but wont with you, I understand.......***** away.

Not everyone who plays desires to gamble at it, no need to get bent over it. It's just the way it is.

By the way, if you don't get that sand out of your vagina it will eventually turn into a pearl! j/k :)

I think you are confusing good money management.....you......and being a nit<<<betting small AND asking for weight IMO......I don't think betting small means being a nit at all.

am I a nit? yes
will I bet? yes
will I play? yes
will I quit after 1 set? NO!

You only offered me 60% of my asking cost of one of my recent for sale items that was already priced more than fair.

I agree there are a lot of nits in the pool world.

Thanks

Kevin

Yeah, and not all of them gamble:D

But believe you me ......if i hit the lottery ......ill make games.....I promise:wink:

And it's the responsibility of all the gamblers to drive the NITs out of pool rooms. Do anything you can to make them leave; bug them, make fun of them, insult them...but make them leave!

The room owner will thank you.

Why would a room owner thank anyone for driving off paying customers?
