Well, as far as i know, a soldier in an army is taking orders to do something. Many of the soldiers in Iraq or Afghanistan didn't have much of a choice to do otherwise and deny. I think a big % of soldiers that serve in such places, they really S..t on their pants cause other thing is training and other the real thing and this is natural. John is there as a member of a support team of the US army and he has chosen to do it, knowing what he had to face there. For money? yes of course. Everyone wants to get better salary to improve his life. He has chosen to take the risk and that is brave decision. And it is HIS CHOICE (i might be mistaken here cause i dont know how things works in your service). Not a General's Order. I think you all get my point. My only important question to John is: What kind of pool tables afghanis use there?!!!!
