Well, as far as i know, a soldier in an army is taking orders to do something. Many of the soldiers in Iraq or Afghanistan didn't have much of a choice to do otherwise and deny. I think a big % of soldiers that serve in such places, they really S..t on their pants cause other thing is training and other the real thing and this is natural. John is there as a member of a support team of the US army and he has chosen to do it, knowing what he had to face there. For money? yes of course. Everyone wants to get better salary to improve his life. He has chosen to take the risk and that is brave decision. And it is HIS CHOICE (i might be mistaken here cause i dont know how things works in your service). Not a General's Order. I think you all get my point. My only important question to John is: What kind of pool tables afghanis use there?!!!! (just to lighten things )

So back to my idea about calling the local police, DA's office, BBB, Kiwanis Club, Black Panthers, Blue Angels or whatever we can do to put some heat on JForney to cough up the cash.

My response to this thread was only to state the fact that you are not a solider, many of our members keep referring to you as if you were and this is just not a true fact.

This is the first time in this thread that you have said what you actually do.

I do respect you for being there as I have told you personally.

I wish you the best of luck in getting your deal done with Journey.

It just bothers me to read wrong facts.

I NEVER said that I was in the military. I used to be in the military but not anymore. I now work for the Army in Afghanistan. Whenever I referance my job on here I always say that I work for the Army and that is true.

And another thing it does not matter how much money I make over here. It really bothers me when you say I'm just here to make money which is bull shit. I am here to make money yes but also to support my country in a very desperate time of need. These rockets and everything else that get flung on base every now and again could very easily hit my living space just as easily as the Army sodier ten feet away. I also travel a lot around Afghanistan to other camps which is no picnic. I still have to get up in the middle of the night in 2 or 3 feet of snow and walk to the bathroom, still have to eat the damn DFAC food, and I still have to work 12 hours a day 7 days a week.

The point is don't make it sound like I am over here for one reason because I'll tell you what, the money ain't worth it to me sometimes. It is the love and service to my country that keeps me going here in Afghanistan.

Keep up the good work. My hat is off for you sir. I hope you get your cue in short order and stay safe enough to make it back home to use it.

My suggestion is to have either mail a letter or send someone you know to the the District Justice office that covers the town you live in stateside (Texas). Ask your friend to explain to the District Justice or Magistrate, (I don't know how the system is set up where you live) your situation and to explain that you now wish to press fraud and theft charges (since monies were exchanged and no product or service was given). I would also write a letter to your state's Attorney General's office advising him of this guy's business practices. They get enough complaints on the same person, they often act themselves.
No excuse for this going on this long. You've gotten the run-around long enough.
Hope this resolves out quickly and also that you get home safe!

Regardless of the outcome of this fiasco...I can personally say that I'll never do business with this joker...and he should be banned. Beyond that...I won't do business with anyone I'm aware is doing business with JForney. And anyone else that gets burned by this clown in the future, after a 6 page thread (that's really 5 pages too long) was written about him...I don't feel sorry for you. Not even a little.

I hope he comes through, I think I was the last person to deal with him that got what I paid for. I got a case and it came no problem. This sucks and he should take care of it now. I will not be doing business with him anymore. Nate.
