Hey guys I am working on another event. It will be held in the Phoenix area and I have a couple of options. My question is,

which would you rather see?

Efren V's Scott Frost one pocket challenge match

or
Efren V's Earl Challenge match 9 ball or 10 ball

Also how much would you pay to see it?
 
Efren v Frost

I'd probably buy a video, but I doubt I would pay mcuh admission.

Efren and Earl, two world champions, would be great.

However, Scott and Efren are both one-pocket champs in their own right. One-pocket is a real tough sell to some. Not everybody understands the game. It depends on what audience you are targeting, I guess.

BTW, is that Senator McCain in your avatar? WOW! :)

Yes, it's McCain. He sits by me at the Phoenix Suns games.
 
EARL and EFREN. Earl seems to behave a lot better around Efren and the matches are always a sight to see.

Efren and Cliff. I've seen enough of Earl to last a lifetime and he always gives it away to Efren anyway.

How about Scott and Cliff?!

How would the two of them match up, I wonder!

I've seen a lot of Efren, but wouldn't Scott and Cliff be a good match-up for one-pocket?

That maybe something for another time, We never get to see either Earl or Efren in this part of the world and so while I have the chance of having Efren here in town I need to take it. I don't know when I will get the chance again ya know?
 
Well, I think we have already seen which Earl shows up for challenge matches. And we have seen what the IPT gives us with quality of play & excitement with exhibition money. If I was you, I would consider that before you bring in two players for your party.

Since Earl is going to be out there, as well as Efren, and Scott lives in the area, maybe a little Captains game would be in order.

Watchez, this will be at a pool room. Nothing fancy just a chance to get 2 great players together and give pool fans a treat here in Phoenix. I am not trying to compete with anyone at this point.
 
How about both???

1-pocket - Efren Vs Scott
9-ball - Johnny Vs Earl


I think if Scott is involved....... locally most will want to see him match up at 1-pocket

Thats a great idea, that costs more $$ and its hard to raise the $$

That should be a good match-up with Cliff giving up a little weight. If though Efren is going to be in that neck of the woods, I would utilize him as best I could. Everyone likes Efren and mysterious things happen when he plays.

I have been told that I would get a good turn out for that match. If I can charge $5.00 to $10.00 at the door It would help with the prize $$. Do you think that is a reasonable price?
