No offense, but this has to be the most epic "failure to communicate" I've ever seen.

In the words of the T-Pain.... Blame it on the Goose, blame it on the Henny, Blame it on the a-a-a-a-a-a- alchohol

On one behavior foul Dippy gets 2 balls or 50% of what he needs-Scott gets 1 ball or 1/19th of what he needs.

Translation (en ingles ):

Scott you for the most part acted like a gentleman everyone has that moment.

There is a diamond table room in new york city, it is partly owned by nick schulman. I would be willing to play you a set for 250,000 to 1,000,000 there.

Rules being normal Dippy rules, with a referee when your inning is over you go sit down and referee lets the other player know when it's his turn.
Unsportsmanlike conduct; first time is a warning second time is a loss of inning.
10-20 ahead, to be played 12 hours a day, at 12 hours you either quit or til both agree to quit.
Money will be held in a safe deposit box to be held by a neutral party or someone we both trust in vegas.
if you act like a monkey the ref will warn you then he will call a foul on you, your foul will be 2 balls, mine 1 ball.
We will both act like gentlemen or be penalized and if it gets bad the referee will at his own discretion have the power to punish how he sees fit.
This offer is open to most and I make fair games.
But I am going to win 20,000 or lose 200,000 more.

I'm impressed Eric!

Chris

(I would put a disclaimer on the last line though. I think he's saying he not going to play to win 20K only when he can lose 200K. My guess is Scott and him started at 20K and kept jacking up the bet until he quit 200K down).

I watched them play for hours. Scott never acted like a monkey, ever. In fact, Scott went above and beyond to make the game run SMOOTHLY and to be a total classy guy. I can't stress that enough and I won't go into any more detail than that.

Scott strikes me as a kind of guy where if he was at a party and a drunk guy wasn't paying attention and bumped into Scott (and spilled his wine all over the host's white carpet), Scott would likely say "Sorry-- my fault" and take the heat anyways.

Kills me how he can lose hundreds of thousands of dollars playing a game he is not even considered a player but won't pay 250 bucks on a couple of English and typing classes at the local Community College to better himself.

Yeah I don't know how you can be functionally illiterate and be content with yourself. Some people don't mind not being able to read and write I suppose.

It is a well kept secret among the cognoscente of high rollers that Dippy has been a follower of CTE for a few months now.

After he learns the air pivot(s) he will torture these champions.

The AZ of education

I never fail to learn something on AZ.

Today I found that Eric and the Book Collector have Rosetta Stones.

Dippy and the 'Brain' come from the same neighborhood.

CTE can be used with english,

And JAM has no chance with Dippy playing Scrabble......
...he knows words she can't even dream about.

pt..<..who thinks the Dipsters posts will improve when his spell-checker
finishes its psycho-therapy..:yikes:

If you saw the match, maybe you can tell me how Scott got on the hill on the 10-ahead match and let Dippy get all the way back to even? He must've been awfully tired in the last set...........

I think you missed the point of my post, but that's ok. They also played for days - I only watched last Mon evening.

18-4 is a TON of weight and Dippy plays WAAAAAAAY better than a lot of people on here realize. But, if you think Scott's dumping out to Dippy -- just say so.
