On one behavior foul Dippy gets 2 balls or 50% of what he needs-Scott gets 1 ball or 1/19th of what he needs.

I *think* you have this wrong. If they get a behavior foul, dippy has to take 1 ball out of his pocket meaning a 25% penalty. If Scott gets a behavior foul, he pulls out 2 balls or 10.5% penalty. I think Dippy is getting way the worst of this. A 5 ball penalty would be more in line.

Far be it from me to ever even consider hyjacking a thread, but is it pivot or pirouette? I can never keep it straight. :)

Main Entry: pirouette
Synonyms:
Charybdis, circle, circulate, circumrotate, circumvolute, crank, dizzy round, eddy, go around, go round, gurge, gyrate, gyre, maelstrom, pivot, pivoting, rat race, reel, revolution, revolve, rotate, round, screw, spin, surge, swing, swirl, swivel, turn, turn a pirouette, turn around, turn round, twirl, twist, vortex, wamble, wheel, whirl, whirligig, whirlpool, whirlwind, wind

I personally like 'wamble'

WAMBLE
(wŏm'bəl, wăm'-) pronunciation

1. To move in a weaving, wobbling, or rolling manner.

It doesn't quite fit but I like the sound and it sort of describes my stroke and the way I walk around the table..

Jimmy M...Only half? I always thought it was 90%! LOL

I can't read a lick of this either, but I respect the guy's willingness to play the best players in the world for this kind of money. He's offering the type of score that most of us pool players have only heard stories about (and half of those probably aren't even true).

Fatboy can give Dippy 25-2 in writing skills!

Thanks for the laugh Dippy, I admire your ability to not give a flying F about a lot of shit.

Kills me how he can lose hundreds of thousands of dollars playing a game he is not even considered a player but won't pay 250 bucks on a couple of English and typing classes at the local Community College to better himself.

We have a guy here in Columbus who came from another country 45 years ago.
He spoke in broken English and even nits bet it up with him because they thought he was stupid.
He won a whole lot more money than he lost in his life and the last time I saw him {a couple of years ago} his accent was even worse than when he first got here . Who's the dummy?

I wonder if there ever be a time when Dippy gives a regular guy like myself a chance to score some big money.
Does he always have to play champions or is he willing to adjust the spot and match up with someone like me.
I would love a chance at the cheese.
I'm willing to play Dippy rules, fouls, everything whatever.

Dippy this man has made you an offer

Dippy

Dippy should make all players post up the amount up front 50,000
play best out of sets 2/3 or 3/5 /// so he's not losing 100,00 to win 20,000 & have no shot of winning close to what he will loose
poolplayers are bad investments, betting 20,000 takes 4-5 players or more pooling there money together for one shot

most poolplayers are bad action, need to stick to cards ,the odds are better & you are assured to get paid & no limit what you will win

Dippy I have only talked to you a couple times in person, and you always came off as straight up.

This is probably your best post ever.

I understand why you did what you did the first time you played Scott, now you give him credit WHEN HE DESERVES IT.

Good for you SIR.

Not

I think you missed the point of my post, but that's ok. They also played for days - I only watched last Mon evening.

18-4 is a TON of weight and Dippy plays WAAAAAAAY better than a lot of people on here realize. But, if you think Scott's dumping out to Dippy -- just say so.

I guess we're even, because you missed my point as well......I was just wondering how it went; Dumping never crossed my mind; especially not for the stakes they were playing for...

You act like pool needs this guy, it doesn't.

And you forget that he's looking for out of line games 18-4 19-4
Someone asked how could he come back from down 9 games, your answer is he has to make 4 balls.

Lol, what a sad attempt. You obviously don't READ books, which is why your name is understandable. However, your response has absolutely no relevance to his point. English isn't your "guy's" native language. Nobody thinks Dippy is stupid, he can obviously gamble and that should go without saying. But he is functionally illiterate on a keyboard, IN English. And if you don't think that taking a typing class for a few months would do nothing but benefit him in more ways than I can think of, you're pretty ignorant.
