I like the veneered box idea. That's going to be a nice Davis conversion. I can't wait to see the finished cue, I bet it will play great too.
The cocobolo Davis cue you converted for me is my new player. The hit is amazing, and very easy to get used to. The cue has alot of snap to it, I really like that kind of hit.

Yes, the jig looks nice and simple to use. We'll see a lot more veneer boxes when people get your tool.

Actually, what are these suppose to be or turn out?
Is this some kind of template? If it turns out to be what i imagine, something similar to the meucci gambler cue would be quite nice.

i believe the ivory cards go inside the veneer boxs
