Is anyone else receiving a TON of Inside Pool Spam today?

So far I've received three separate emails (TODAY) related to a YouTube promotion. It wouldn't be so bad but there is no link to remove myself from the mailings!

I have received a few via facebook (not sure how you are getting them). You can remove yourself from that list by deleting the email - then looking at the top of the page and it will say either undo or something about leaving the group.

The sender did apologize for the multiple emails....which was nice. :)

Cool, thanks for the info. I've been getting little annoyed myself about numerous messages I was getting from them. I've followed your advice:thumbup:

Inside Pool Mag

F*** IPM. After they printed that story regarding the individual on disability winning a tourney I cancelled my paper subscription and blocked them off any emails or contacts. IPM = Spamming RATS.

ha ha ha ha ha ha!!!!

Please remove my pic that you are using for your avatar. It was a particularly itchy day for me.

I changed my avitar to this hot young stud for a reason... LOL! I mean, have you seen some of the pics of women as avatars???? Really... lol

Now you're going to get these anonymous posters claiming to be your avatar but I'm betting it's just a Lotrimin AF model.

Facebook Spam

I had someone hack my facebook PW and use it to send spam to everyone on my friends list. Was told by FB the best thing to do was change my PW.

Maybe they should be barred from the BCAPL events and having the prime location as you walk in?

I wonder how they got my email address cause I have never given it to Inside Pool

I've given them my email address and I don't get any SPAM emails. In fact, it's been a while since I heard from them. They do stay in contact on FB but that's easy to control. Heck, controlling your email account is easy too, just "Block Sender" and you are good to go.

Inside Pool Magazine does a lot for pool. They are at many of the events and always providing up to date information on tournaments.
I even heard that they & BigTruck are doing the livestreaming at the $50,000.00 ADDED MONEY tournament at www.ultimate10ball.com .

JoeyA - the new me is trying hard to be a more friendly poster so I won't post 60 lines to dispute your claim. You can search here and find all the info you need on IP.

Have a nice night.

Hey, that's VERY COOL Watchez!

I've learned some great lessons in life too. Everyone has a different perspective based upon their "personal" experiences with everything. You can't know where another person is coming from unless you were there walking the same steps.

That doesn't mean you can respect another person's right to their opinion based upon their journey, even if it disagrees with your own.

Best Regards,
JoeyA

Scott,
I normally don't do this kind of thing and I'm not offering to do this except out of curiosity for myself, not to prove you wrong or to right a wrong. I'm curious to know if problems like this can be resolved or not.

If you PM me your name and address as it was filled-out for your IPM subscription, along with the date that you filled in the subscription I will try to find out what happened to your subscription.

If you have a copy of a check or a credit card receipt, it will make the job even easier. If you have one of these, I feel I can get you satisfaction right away.

Maybe I'm wrong about Inside Pool Magazine but I think that they try to do a good job and even people who do a good job, drop the ball from time to time. Then again, maybe they didn't drop the ball at all. So just to reiterate, if you PM me your name and address along with the other information I requested, I will try to find out what happened to your subscription.

Also, if you have had a change of address since you first filled in your subscription, let me know what the address was and if you have a new current address please let me know what that was as well. It can get complicated tracking down these problems and even with thousands of subscribers, the paper trail seldom fails to shed some light on the problem.

Best Regards,
JoeyA

JoeyA - thru your connections, can you also determine how InsidePool got my email address and spammed me? If you need my email address, I can send it to you in a PM. Also, I have not changed email addresses in about 10 years.

Also, I like to read Billiard magazines but don't want the frustration that many others have had with Inside Pool and their subscriptions. I will extend an olive branch to Inside Pool and offer this - if they send me a magazine on time, every month (or issue) for a year, I will pay them at the end of the year. I will do so each and every year until they put me 6 feet under or Inside Pool ceases to exist. Can you work on that arrangement as well?

Thanks,
