Looks a lot like the old Sceptre cues and Topper cues...dymond wood or some sort of impregnated wood. Whitewolf has a cue which is similar, but without all the colors. PM him and get his opinion. His has a very stiff hit...not bad at all, but it is certainly a matter of opinion.T411 said:Looks like Diamond wood.

Celtic said:It is made of wood. Tricky cue, almost looks like he laminated a bunch of thin sheets of stained wood together into a sheet, then cut blocks off and turned them to get that multicolor design. The way he did the rippled handle makes for the intresting spots at the top of the ripple.
Greg Cairns has/had a cue exactly like that except it was not multi colored. It had the rippled handle area though, probably made by the same guy as I have not seen many people do that. The cue itself was nothing special and did not hit that well.

LastTwo said:A friend of mine has the exact same thing as you described, it's the same cue but with no colors and designs. The cue is extremely heavy, something like 25 ounces and the hit is crap. Someone offered him $1000 for it and he turned it down, because he didn't know the value of it.

Sounds more like the age old story of when two fools met.Celtic said:Yeah Gregs weighed a ton as well, depsite the fact it is missing alot of wood due to the ripples. $1000 offer is like winning the lotto and then loosing the ticket when ya dont sell.
