This is my only Searing. The detail that Dennis achieves is mind-blowing! Note how the ivory inlays are detailed.

The only DS I've seen that has a radial brass screw.
Let's just cut to the chase.
I spent one day with Dennis.
There is no doubt in my mind, he is the best maker who ever lived.
Period!

Don't argue with me or ask why I think that way.
It is what it is.
He makes hall of famers look like hacks with his precision.

Dam fine cue you have there, there needs to be more close up shots to witness how great this cue truly is :)

The Paua outline of the inlay is so thin and sharp and those veneer work is simply outstanding..

Thanks for sharing and if you time, more pictures please :)

Very nice..... Love the way he outlined the inlay in paua. Play with it well. :)

Thanks for the nice comments guys. These were Martin's pictures for me when I got it. My pictures are awful. One day I will get it right. Thanks again.

Phil that is a stunning cue. I saw the pair being built and the detail on that cue is second to none. A great addition to any collection on the planet. Enjoy it in good health my friend.

We may have to start a "Show off your Searing Thread".

The only way a Searing could be made better is if Ashley the Wilderbeast could reach the lathe controls.

I tend to NOT love many Searing cues.

WHY?

Apparently the cost and the wait has caused so many folks to get super simple cues that cost less, instead of showing what incredible talent this guy has. This cue is an exception, it shows off a lot of talent.

I play with a Searing shaft, its incredible.

Hopefully more of these tastefully done cues such as this will be shown.

I know I haven't held a better made cue. The painstaking precision is incredible. Phil, I'm glad you are enjoying one of the Searing Border Brothers! I went bald during the time it was being made :)

Maybe it's just the picture or angle of the cue, but the Diamond in the top pic looks oblong in shape.
