An address has been asked for and none provided. This information came from the press release and a Google Earth locator. Perhaps a Chicago area member of this forum could verify the physical location and "existence" of the IPT for our collective peace of mind.

I was unable to obtain any business registration pertaining to the business status of the IPT. It is fascinating that an entity can transact with vendors and subcontractors and be the subject of intense debate and scrutiny while perhaps not technically existing.

After all of the time spent on this subject by the forum regulars and lurkers it would be nice to know that the IPT is registered as a business and under what name it is transacting.

There must be some of sort of paper trail to follow. As the German saying goes, trust is good but control is better.

Why not just look up Natural Cures Inc.? That will be the address of the IPT I believe. It is located in Elk Grove Village, which is west of O'Hare airport.

I agree that it is likely and logical that the IPT is "housed" in the same space as Trudeau's other Chicago based companies. The question then is how "real" is the IPT with respect to it's corporate status?

The tournament setup could have all been handled through any company, not one named IPT. Since the IPT is so much a mystery yet to be solved has anyone actually been to the IPT offices? Does anyone know how the IPT business is registered and structured?

The address on all our correspondence has been the Elk Grove address. From speaking with IPT staffers, they work out of the Natural Cures office, but there is another office close by that they did not disclose, where I believe Deno and KT to work from.

Warehouse of the Holy Grail

Roadie,
I appreciate your sense of humor. My take is that IPT pool players didn't demand that the payouts be put into an escrow account. Which says that pool players, their backers and sponser's aren't too savvy.

Hello LaMas...<<Which says that pool players, their backers and sponser's aren't too savvy.>>

Time out. I'm a qualifier sponsor. Do the math. I am neither defending or condemning the IPT...in this post anyway. But the fact is that the IPT has actually paid out so far, more money than has been won in all other pro tour events held in the U.S. in the prior year...COMBINED....BY FAR.

That doesn't justify Reno money not being paid out but there are quite a few pros who are highly unlikely to earn from other events for the rest YEAR, what they have actually been paid by the IPT.

So the judgment of who is or isn't savvy cannot rely on when or whether the Reno money ever gets paid out.
Regards,
Jim

The speech given by Abraham Lincoln at the Gettysburg battle site has come to be known as the Gettysburg Address. I feel quite certain that the speech given by KT to the players during the King of the Hill event in Orlando will come to be known as the IPT Address.

Hi Roadie. There is no mystery on this issue. The following is a copy/past from a recent current events publication issued by the Villiage of Elk Grove listing "new businesses" formed in the "Spring of 2006"

Natural Cures – 802 Greenleaf

Using Zillow.com, the satellite photo shows that area of Greenleaf as obviously an industrial park.

In addition, here is a link to the Illinois Secretary of State web site that shows Natural Cures Inc. as an Illinois Corporation in "Good standing."

http://cdsprod.ilsos.net/CorpSearchWeb/CorporationSearchServlet

Yes, I know that the Natural Cures business address is there and that there is a business registered under Natural Cures Inc. My question is whether or not anyone actually knows how the business known as the "International Pool Tour" is structured? Is it a sole propietership operating under a DBA (doing business as) or is it incorporated? Has the business of the IPT been handled independently of Natural Cures Inc.?

The logical assumption would be that all the business is handled from the same location as Trudeau's pre-existing business. The question is whether a truly seperate business exists.

Half of the legal fight, if there is one, may very well be determining who to serve the papers to. On paper there might not be an IPT. I would advise anyone with the ability to do so who has a dog in this fight to do some investigation and find out if the IPT even exists officially.

Hopefully it won't come to that. Equally as hopeful, I hope no one sells what they are owed to the kind of people who don't collect it with nice lawsuits. It has been advocated many times that pool should embrace it's "colorful" side. Let's not forget for a second that the colorful side where the free-flow of backer money comes from is not made up from the sort of people who take being owed lightly.

This contact information appears to have been posted in October 2005. For those of you who haven't been paid or have other questions, you could email Deno at the above email address. I presume that KT's email address is: ktrudeau@internationalpooltour.com

I'll bet KT and Deno will be surprised when they arrive at work on Monday to see a full inbox of emails!

Why should they demand an escrow account. Charlie Williams joined the IPT and no one knows more about running pool Tours, or organizing them, or escrow accounts than he does. So if Charlie didn't think an escrow account was necessary why should anyone else?

Face the facts. The players threw the dice. some came up 7's, some came up snake eyes. I really doubt that any of the players who threw 7's are going to do any complaining. Thorsten, Archer, Varner, etc., will just go on with their lives and look for the next good deal.

$175,000 was paid out at the US Open. Sounds like a lot but is a drop in the bucket as to how much was paid out by the IPT. At the US Open there were around 219 players so that means that 171 of them lost money. I don't hear any of them complaining. In fact most of them would probably tell you that they had a great time. The two losers I know say it was great. The 16 who won $750 probably broke even. Maybe.

As to contacting the IPT why not just go to the IPT website and click on the link that says, "contact us".

Shouldn't think Deno would be that surprised. Can't be more than a handful of people who use the IPT forum who didn't already know his e mail address.Furthermore dozens of e-mail shots to thousands of people have originated from it so its hardly a secret. As for those owed money he could probably paper his walls with previous e mails already received from them and some could paper theirs with the previous IPT replies most of which say 'soon' or words to that effect:rolleyes:

That is ...

Deno's IPT business address. How much am I bid on his private email address? .... lol (and no, I will not release it because of a few reasons).

So the website is registered to "International Pool Tour Inc." Now, where in the world is International Pool Tour Inc. registered as a business? Internic doesn't verify the identity of the registrants.

It is an interesting legal question as to whether the whois information on teh website shows that the relationship between Natural Cures is not sponsor and sponsoree but that the IPT is in fact owned by Natural Cures, Inc. If so then perhaps that makes Natural Cures, Inc. the party to attach claims to for unpaid obligations.

Keep trying Roadie, maybe someone will pick up the ball!

At the very least, surely someone must have had a consultation with an attorney and, at least, is preparing for the next necessary step.

You can lead a poolplayer to a poolroom, but you can't make him run 50 balls.:D

Maybe that refers to "pool" animals.
