Now that you're happy.

Let's get back to what the real problem is...
I just got a phone call from the person that I mentioned in my first post earlier... the player that I talked to and the one that is trying to rally all the players. His point was "why not tell the players to "reject" and demand full payment?
He saw Jim's post and basically said "so what." His reason for saying that is this.... The few times they have been communicated to, they've been lied to. Up until yesterday, they were going to be paid in full... what happened?
First KT tells them the tour is fully funded, then he doesn't pay and later blames it on the Ho deal. During this time, he's still making announcements that the players are going to be paid in full. There was never any mention that the tour was in trouble, that KT was broke, or that the tour was going to file bankruptcy. All they've heard is "you're going to get paid in full" and then out of the blue they're told they're going to get a third. Why? What happened, why are they all of the sudden being offered a third?
His belief, as is mine, is that KT has it but doesn't want to pay it, even though he stated that
he would fund the tour with his own money for 2 years. We believe KT has the money, he just doesn't want to part with it.
Players are being told they'll get a third and that the tour will continue on a lesser scale. Why should they believe that? I believe they'll get a third and the IPT will close up shop. He can say that he legally settled his debts with this endeavor and will not be held accountable for the rest of the money. He will then go on to make millions on his weight loss book because America is fat. They're desperate not to be fat but too lazy to do anything about it. His new book will surely tout something they can do with little to no effort to lose weight. Just like the natural cures book was a scam but he made millions off of it.
All he is trying to do is get out as cheaply a he can and be done with this. He's not stupid and this isn't his first rodeo. He knows the system and how to work it. The players do not. If the players opt not to accept this offer (reject) and get legal advice, they might just learn that they can in fact get all of their money by pursuing this. Or, they could learn that they're better off accepting the offer.
The fact of the matter is that they should reject until they are well informed of all the options. To date, the only options they've had is whatever KT was willing to give them. They now know that he's lied to them and mislead them. It's up to them to stop listening to him because he only speaks of what is in KT's best interest only. He's certainly not going to tell them if there's a way for them to collect their full payment. if anything, the fact that he's doing this leads me to believe that there is a way for them to collect the full amount and he's doing everything he can to stop it before they figure this out and it happens.
