Is Jeanette Lee still playing ?

I think JL laid off playing for about 8 months during her pregnancy, started back again about a month or two ago. She will be playing in the WPBA event in Michigan this week. Good luck to her; yet another comeback required of her (after 8 major back surgeries, she should be used to comebacks; though I am positive they are never enjoyable).

In my view, those ordeals would have just crushed the spirit of almost any player I know. She has the heart, and the love for the game. I am a fan; not many athletes could EVER overcome even a portion of what she has endured.

I'm watching some WPA pool on espn right now, the players at the top just have no personality at the moment (Ga young etc) and with Allison and Karen not doing as well, we need Jeanette back !

to me the standard hasn't improved in the women's game the last 5 years. There was that quantum leap in standard when Allison and Karen joined the tour but it has remained steady so it is very possible for Jeanette to be competitive

The Black Widow IMO is the best ambassador for womens pool hands down. She works the crowd, plays in the gambling room in Vegas late at night. Where is Mrs. Mataya? She and her hubby snubbed several pool players at the Riv. Down below waiting for a cab. Not even a wave, how you guys doing? Nothing. Unfortunately I don't think JL can hang with the best ladies out there now. Ladies are on TV for a reason. Go figure!!!
 
Jeanette, George and Strong arm were hanging out here in northern Ky this past weekend, Jeanette played Saturday night and George played Shannon Murphy Sunday night.

Is she still working on that movie "9 Ball Hos"?
 
I was told that Jeanette is actually partaking on a tour right now, appearing at different pool places around the country. Watch for her in your neighborhood... She'll be near me next week, although the place she's going to be at isn't a pool hall. but a dive bar with a bar-box. Not sue if she's falling off or what by appearing at such a place. Her website has the schedule I believe.
