Is There Some Hidden -or- Special Meaning To Your Unusual Az Name / Avatar?

Nothing too exciting on mine, needed a unique user name on xbox live, someone already had Easy E, so I just used all 3 initials.

My avatar is my rescue foster failure dog, going nuts from thunder. He's a shiba inu, #4 for me. he was at the local shelter having been picked up as a stray (and looking pretty rough)

so he was in the list to either go to rescue or a vet, or be euthanized, no adoptions. I hunted down a shiba inu rescue to help and fostered him and by the time he healed up and his fur grew back enough for him to be ready to be adopted I decided I had to keep him as he's a total sweetheart of a dog. The other 3 all have varying bad reactions to thunder + fireworks, but none of them have the huge tongue hanging out action he does. Its the only time he'll get on a couch too which is funny, the other 3 are total couch hogs.

Mine is kind of boring as well. My name is Zackery D Richardson and, back when I played arcade games, I would put my initials ZDR which I always pronounced zeeder and so I started using that name everywhere on the web.

My avatar is my JMW but I'll be switching it up when I get a new cue sometime this year!

to answer car questions..

the first cutlass I got was the 1972 cutlass. I bought it in 1994 in really good shape 2200$ ... Great price back then and another long great story.
It only had a 350 2 barrel.. I had the motor rebuilt by a shop that knew nothing about olds it took a few years to get that fixed... but in 2000 it got a 455.. :) of course buy the time I sold it it was more than stock and has prolly been killed. 455 - .30 over, with 3:42 gears , Posi and 400 turbo... I had to run 255-70-15 to get it to hook up ran 225-65-15 on the front.
Kid got i dyno'd after he bought it and told me it was pushing 450 to the rears.. I used to race it around town with kids for fun for a few years.

I had built a 71 with a 455 HP motor . .60 over, forge pistons and motor was set up for NOS. (new motor, needed gears chaged to run well) it was still a work in progress motor wise when sold, body wise car only needed the headliner put back in. I had the headliner but had not put in in so people could see I had the roof replaced due to the rust issue with the Vinyl top issue on those cars.

I love the older cars but with me now being 46.. I cant say I mis not having A/C and heat in my toys. I found a pretty nice 72 Mustang for 2500 but irght now it winter, and I am replacing the cues I lost in a house fire first. I most likely will get a car to tinker with in a few months.
If you have any other questions or chit chat you can PM me.

If you live in the Nashville area you most likely would remember me in the pool leagues and the car.
My father was York Nance

I saw it back up on Craigs list a week later with the 455 pulled and a 350 put back in..

My ex and I had a small inside joke about our door bell and how cute our pug was. He was a door bell.
I'm dukhobour (small group of crazy Russian immigrants) and my Russian name is Dora. Just put those two things together.

Been using mine for years on forums. My name is Nat and for some reason no one could get it right. Some my typical introduction is, "Nat, like the bug without the G." To this day I am known as Flyboy to my mother-in-law.

I survived the apocalypse.

I picked this screen name because it is scary...Are you not scared!!!

Mine is a pseudonym from high school under which I used to write witticisms and prose. I miss those days sometimes. Other times, not so much...

The Olds 455 is a motor that is near and dear to my heart, as well.

My old us army boat, turned *unusual* fishing machine, has a rather mean 455 Olds that my good buddy and master race car mechanic, Nigel, hooked me up with.

We get to the the fishing hot spots in a hurry since his involvement. :)

best,

My handle actually comes from an engine company I was assigned to, early in my career as a fire fighter. It was Engine 85 at the time, but has been re-numbered to Engine 82.

We were called "The Standby Kids" because our unit wasn't very busy. So, we spent all our time moving up to stand by for the busy engine and truck companies.

My avatar is Hollie, my 18 month old boxer. Her nickname is "La Diabla", because she is a she-devil. She is a testament to the saying, "Pretty girls are a pain". LOL! Wouldn't trade her for the world.

Cool thread.

When I chose my username, my beloved cat had just passed. He had been my parents', but they had recently passed, so I got him for his 1.5 years. I had to IV him every 5 days due to kidney problems. Wouldn't ya know it was cancer that got him. Anyway, he was an awesome friend and he had a ton of sentimental emotion to me. His name was George.

Within a week, I got me another cat, a blue-point siamese. I named her Georgetta, but call her Jet. She turns 5 on Sunday.

And that is me in my avatar making sure Archer doesn't slug rack me. :)

Nothing hidden..

Classiccues.. site name, favorite style of cue cues made in the 50's/60's/70's/80's.. 4 points, veneers some MOP or ivory and I'm good to go. Spent the last 20 plus years learning to ID everything from Bushka to Szamboti, Adams to Palmers..

Avatar.. always changing it will normally be pro-USA, or my 71 Jeepster, OR a rescue dog.

MoneyBox - When I play, I'm like an open box full of money where anyone can come grab some. I don't look for the best game and I don't haggle spots. I'll take the worst of it just to play.

No avatar, but I may have been known to toss the occasional putter. :D

That made me laugh.

Its the 6 iron for me. I tossed (more of a horizontal launch)one up into the 'ratttlesnake warning' cactus hillside this summer. Better distance than the topped shot into the pond. The ebay listings for Adams 6 irons is now in my favorites just in case.

My golf buddies won't let me forget-can't blame em.:embarrassed2:

jalapus;

but what about your avatar.

Is that you?

I like to change avatars in order to mix it up. During the holidays, I feel a bit morbund. Thus my current avatar reflects my holiday spirit. But, it is a new year. Perhaps time to change???

Dang, that looks good! I've got a foldable boat. In fact, I'll race yours...provided that we can only use our trolling motors.

Dang Brian, is that enough motor for that over-sized jon boat? :yikes: How fast does she fly? Can you open it fully without the nose going vertical? Cool toy!
