Is There Some Hidden -or- Special Meaning To Your Unusual Az Name / Avatar?

roll with it

Thanks Mike. I got out of here as soon as a broke college kid could afford to. ;) And I will again. But for now I have a roof over my head and I shouldn't complain too much- But I still do. Heh.

Suck probably did wear off on me, who knows! haha

Thanks for the welcome!

I was hoping you wouldnt be upset.
greenie to you.
Vegas is to hot for me , too many people , but lots of action on the pool tables if you can hang.

New to the forum.

Mine is just another way to spell hustler, Hus-a-lah if you sound it out that way you will understand, I use this name for everything and sometimes it gets confused as a arabic name or word :D

Husalah was also a rapper from the bay area rap group Mob Figaz, that's not why i made my name though.

And 90 is my birth year.

my avatar is all my amish wives in pennsylvania. i escaped to new jersey, and since they don't use computers, my screen name won't tip them off to where i ran.

My username is a handle I've used from time to time online. It's a tribute to the greatest pure hitter in the history of baseball - Theodore Samuel Williams. The irony is that I'm a lifelong, die hard Yankees fan. However, gotta give credit where credit is due.

My current avatar is a photo taken about a year ago after my team won our BCA 9-ball league. That money's long gone now but the memories are still fresh.

A blem golf ball used to be called an X-out. Mitch is my first name and I'm not first quality, hence Mitchxout.

Haha! I ain't that easy. :)

Too hot for me, as well. I can handle the heat, but I enjoy a cooler climate much more. I hope to get in on some of that action eventually- Still need some work.

Years ago I was in powerlifting....competitive bench actually. One day at work I was trying to cut a wire with needle nose pliers and I snapped em in half. After that they started calling me Gunz. One guy on my softball team called me Gunzby as a combo of Gunz and Gumby and it stuck.

Here's me about ten years ago and no I never juiced....that stuff is for wussies.

I would bet you're a good breaker, Gunz. Have you ever knocked the short rail off a table?

LoL nah
I was 230lbs in that picture and 170 now. At the size I was it really hurt my stroke, but then again I had no time for pool. That was during my 10 year hiatus. I can consistently hit 30mph with a short warmup, but it seems to give negative returns in 9 ball.

On the other hand I was tearing the cover off a softball. Knocked a ton of balls past a 300' field with a 30' fence, over the little league fence and would find em in the infield of that field.

Very cool. I used to be an audio nut...still have some old tube amps around here somewhere...still love great analog.

.

Love analog as well! However I got rid of my Analog source... I also toyed with tubes (tenor audiom audio research...). I had a table setup worth north of $30K but still wasn't satisfied... I got rid of the table and stuck with CDs, it was better for my bank account. :-)

Happy new year!

Your avatar is wild. Many years ago on AZ, someone posted some pics of their set up. Consisted of a custom table made from Cocobolo.

Twas very pretty to say the least.

Nickname is spimp from a mixture of pimp+ last name spina (pool story from growing up), 13 is favorite number. Alyssa Milano along with Eliza Dushku are two of my favorite hotties.

Mine is the first letter of my name with my middle name Rick Van Rvan.

The pic is of my best friend of 15 years that i had to put down last month, rex the dog.
I had him trained to stay under the bar table when we went to the bars for turny or practice, i trained him how to take all the balls out of the ball drop and put them in the rack then he would run off with the last one to truck.
I realy miss my freind.

Rick.

I was born and raised in Switzerland and loved the game even over there ....
When i came to the USA in 1996 i was in search of a new home room to play pool
so i came to Paradise Billiards in NJ
The only thing was there were about 6 Chris's in that room so I was knick named Swiss Chris and it stuck since then LOL
Happy new Year to All

Yeah it was pretty tuff!! The vet took a paw print and i have his necklace he wore and that pic of him on the beach im going to frame.

Rick.

My choices.

Username technoid, I'm a computer network tech / engineer by trade. I sometimes (allot) over detail explanations of everything and my friends started telling me how annoying it was, hence the noid. 101 is in reference to anything first learned. (ie History 101). Even though I have been trying to improve my game for the last 30 + years, I still sometimes play like a beginner.

The Avatar (I love Vargas paintings) I found on the web. My first avatar was a mock up of Andy Capp with cue and beer in hand but I noticed that another AZ'er also had Andy (dartman) I changed up because he had Andy as his avatar first.

Erik Crabe.

still learning . . .

two lost 'best friends' have appeared on this thread, Maxx and Rex. Both good looking dogs.

rvan, was Rex australian cattle dog as well?

what a great picture of him on the beach.

keep 'em coming ladies and gentleman. (is roberta the only female to respond in this thread so far?)

Happy new year, all!

best,

it could be Brent Hartman Q (cues)

or it could be

Bigfoot Head Quarters:thumbup:
Harry manages to escape, and after numerous sightings in the Seattle area, everyone flocks to Lithgow's sporting-goods store for guns.
His father, played by M. Emmet (Blood Simple) Walsh,
decides to make the store "B.H.Q." (Bigfoot headquarters) but is disappointed when Lithgow makes a life-size drawing of the alleged beast. "I wanted King Kong and you brought me a giant gerbil," Walsh tells Lithgow in the film's funniest line.
