It's a 97-04. A pretty cue but a house cue would play better. It's not bad for a behind the back shot. :dance:

It can be straightened, or the collars can be removed and used on a new shaft.

If you really feel like trying to straighten it and aren't worried about ruining it:

Mark the high points with a pencil
Heat it the opposite (low) side gently with dry heat (burner or heat gun)
Bend it back slowly against a stable surface (counter / worktable top)
Small corrections are best, don't try to do it all at once.

I laughed at step 1. Pretty sure with this shaft I could find the high point while blindfolded, in a dark room, using only my feet.

Some of these old cues work great on motorcycles with alot chrome parts.

When I do the rear tire on my Gold Wing bar cues Rule :thumbup:

When You are done with that cue can I have it. It would make a great jack handle :smash:

Back in the day I ran 3hundred and eleventy balls in my girlfriends, fathers, friends, brothers, basement with a cue like that .
Wait! No I didn't , my high run at one pocket is higher than my high run at straight pool!
Looks a lot like the cue WC Fields used in an old movie .
He eventually poked it through the table and sneaked off.

Nice curve on this one. Yes it is still playable. I would put my money on SVB playing with this cue against almost anyone on this board playing with a straight cue. The question should be, will a player play its best with this cue? Absolutely not.
