1. To get into better physical shape. (Not to lose any weight -- I'm 150 lbs soaking wet -- but rather for heart and lung health. Been letting work act as way too much of an excuse these past couple of years in not setting aside time to work out, and thus sank into somewhat of a sedentary lifestyle.)
2. To break my high straight pool run of 133, and/or score big runs more often. Gotta learn how not to let that cue ball get stuck in the pack on the break shot.
3. To enter more high-level tournaments and get my "tourney chops" sharpened. To enter as many regional events as I can -- e.g. Joss Northeast tour -- and go from there.
4. Attend the U.S. Open this year. The Chesapeake, VA area, for me, has a lot of fond memories from when I was in the U.S. Navy in the mid-/late-1980s.
5. Meet a lot more AZB'ers this year. There are several I'm chomping at the bit to meet.
That's as far as pool-related goes (and yes, number one *is* pool-related, because when one physically and mentally feels better, the outcome is a better game / playing ability).
