It's really hard to stay on top.

I'm talking about the Seminole Pro Tour. lol

The last couple of tournaments you have these results: Recent Results

Seminole tour, THIS past weekend, Fl Capone's I think: Donny Mills

Seminole Tour in California: Rodney Morris over Deuel for Hollywood Seminole Tour Win

Stevie Moore wins Seminole Tour Stop

Archer wins Seminole Season Opener

Do you realize how incredibly difficult it is to win back to back major tournaments with this caliber of players?

This past weekend Donny Mills beat Rodney Morris, Stevie Moore & Johnny Archer. Those three guys have all won a Seminole Pro Tour this year. Now, in one tournament, Donny Mills beats them all.

What are his chances of winning the GEM City Classic next month?

The GEM City Classic will have $11,500.00 added money. With a $150 entry fee on top of that, you are talking about a $20,000.00+ WEEKEND TOURNAMENT.

That's pretty incredible money. The only thing even more incredible would be to see one of the pro players win BACK TO BACK Seminol Pro Tour events THIS YEAR.

Yeah Mika put together a pretty amazing feat with back to back US opens. It takes great skill and good luck.I had a friend this week tell me luck has nothing to do with it,in return I ask him if he has ever seen someone win a tournament and reply, man I got unlucky. As you know it takes luck as well as skill and stamina, you can control the stamina and skill but somethings are just out of our hands.Have a great day

Oddly enough, I see it in a totally different light. Just more proof that 9-ball/10-ball/rotation games are NOT the best way to differentiate pro-caliber players.

They are still fun games to play and watch; but are not a good test of the relative abilities of highly skilled players. One of the major reasons the game hasn't "caught on" with the general public.

You're right. With the level of competition out there, it is almost impossible to win back to back tournaments at the same event. Luck is a many splendid thing.

Since there is not a financially viable pool tour with 'real' money supporting at least 128 players, allot of players are unable to achieve their potential because time/money doesn't permit it. If it did I think you would see a Tiger Woods/SVB much more often. Our sport has not allowed rotation players to evolve within this game like the PGA events do to their players. Heck in tennis, their next tier down events support the eventually feeder group financially and in turn keep their sport alive/healthy/wealthy.

Joey, just simply explain to her that you prefer to be on top. Be patient with her. Tell her how smokin' hot she is and you like to control the pace. Hope this helps.

Craw, you know how it is with us Marines, the women just think we are SO HOT that, well, you get the idea of my problem. It's just something we have to bear/bare.

Or him...whatever does it for ya, JoeyA. Not my business...:)

It's normally those guys who aren't real sure about their gender role who throw out those funny barbs, not that it is any of my business or anything. :slap:

However, I see that you need a little help in the manhood department so I googled you up a link that might be able to get your orientation straightened or not.

And don't take that wink as anything more than a man trying to help a boy find his way in a man's world. :D

Except for Tiger Woods, you haven't seen a whole lot of back to back wins in professional golf either, no matter if they're getting their bills paid and then some.

None of our pool players have a chance to make the living they deserve but at least on the weekend of July 9-11, the Seminole Tribe will be offering up a tournament which will pay out over $20,000.00 to the players which includes $11,500 in added money. It's in Marietta, GA at Archer & Davenport's pool room. With them limiting the number of players to 64, you still have a little time to throw your name in the hat.

I believe it is just JA's now, I was told that Kim no longer associated. I don't know how accurate that is but it came from someone pretty close to the situation.

Many years ago the tournament formats were better for single-player domination. The prime example was when there were challenge matches one-on-one for interim championships between round-robin tournaments.

These days, a player has to be considered near/at the top if he wins three major events in a year. Even the women's tour is leveling out -- remember when Alison Fisher was winning everything?
