Not at all. Selling for fair market value is what these "raffles" should be all about... Obviously a lot of people have a hard time understanding this concept.

Is it fair to sell a Searing plain jain cue for 5K? is that a fair market value?...just a question only :D ...with all do Respect Searing cues is one of the best cue in the world but for just a Plain jain ?...is it really a fair market value ?

Who appointed you to be the raffle police? A guy has an item that many people want and finds a way to make a buck on it. He runs a raffle. He makes a good buck and others partake in a gambling situation where they may lose their money. Somebody wins big, the others lose the little they gambled. Sound familiar? Sound like a slot? Or a blackjack table? Or a roulette table? Or a craps table? Or a horse race?

I can't understand why is this offensive to some people and better yet why they come around and try to ruin it for others? It's none of your business. It would be your business if you put your money in it. I put my $20 in the hat because it fun and I might win. Probably won't... but I decided that it's a small enough amount to risk it. All 42 of us adults did that. You might feel like you should have when you "see" somebody walking away with the case.

He found a way to make a buck and I can't see where anybody is getting hurt. More power to him/them. I just might have to try it sometime.

and hopefully he will answer before this evening. I have an alternate
ready just in case he doesn't. So either way, someone is going to
