it aint my business but since i'm the one who got this match on and set the amount and had half of it-i'm gonna talk,

I will say this. Both players are my friends-good friends who have been to my house and are both welcome back anytime.. Period.

Having said that, Chris has no obligation to justify what he started here in this post, of explaine why he said what he did. And if everyone did the whole story Chris isnt out of line. Mike is my friend-he is young and self cinfident, sometimes a bit to confident in himself, and thats ok he is a good guy. Chris is a seasoned player Mike isnt yet, he will learn and grow from this expreience, Chris isnt saying anything I wouldnt say If I was in his spot, but he sure as hell has no obligation to explane himself to people who didnt have any $$$ in the game or were part of the game.. Chris was a bit harsh on Jay but Jay can take care of himself and at the end of the day, Chris got the $$$, Mike learned something, and Jay is still my good friend too. There will be no bad blood over this.

But people need to mind their own business, Chris dosent owe a explination to anyone, We have spoke since he won I congratulated him and we had a few laughs, when I'm healthy i'm gonna play him, and we'll go to dinner afterwards no matter how much one of us wins or loses.

First of all the question is if this is real Chris Bartram posting and secondly, if it's his friend posting what he thinks Chris wants said, he should had said it was his friend posting Chris's openion.

Third, if it's nobody's business but who had money directly tied into it, then it should had been handled else where.

You or anyone who posting anything controversial here should know you will get an earful. Don't act like you don't know that already.

It's like a woman who walks into a bar with a mini skirt and a super low cut shirt and whinning because all the drunk guys are looking.

Once the coin was flipped and money finally got put up it was over even when I was down a few games I never had a chance to lose..What I want to know was when your boy was down 20 games did you like the way he was singing and dancing while shooting?? He was just lighting everyones money that bet on him on fire haha...Maybe he plays good for practice Jay maybe thats what you witnessed but comeon it takes someone with a little more game and heart to beat me for christ sake I'm the Grinder man.

If you can come up with any more games where someone is stealing I would appreciate I can always use the money...Thanks again Jay

...is not actually Chris Bartram, then this is offensive, misleading, and completely dishonest, even if the real Chris Bartram agrees with these sentiments.

You hit quite a few bullseyes with this post S..

I especially agree that if it's nobody's business but who had money directly tied into it, then it shouldn't have been discussed in this forum, period.

Since, it's in the forum, it is open for discussion. There's always two sides to every story, sometimes three. ;)

As far as the woman whining about all the drunk guys looking....... ahhhhh nevermind. :duck:

I couldnt agree with you any more on this post. There was a lot of shit talking coming from the Dechaine camp. Mike will bet a million $$$, Mike will rob him, then spot him. Well, when it got right down to it, the Dechaine camp, for whatever reason, couldnt even get up the 10k. Good thing for them to, as it was a highway robbery. As far as Jay is concerned, I have no doubt that he won't lose any sleep over any of the whoofing going on. As a matter of fact, I would venture to say that only good things might come out of this, hell, maybe even a rematch. Anyway, I am glad that at least are not bitter about this and can understand Chris' side.

Fine...but he now admits he is not Chris!! Do you know who the actual poster is and can you vouch for him expressing Chris's views accurately?

Regards,
Jim

Speaking of stealing, was it really Chris in the chat room last night that said he would play Stevie for at least 10K in one of these challenge matches?

i remember now that i'm thinking about it, over a year ago there was a long thread started by the screen name "Chris Bartrum" that wasnt Chris, Mr. Wilson needs to take that screen name away from who ever has it-its not doing Chris any favors.

I'm not going to delete my post, because there was some truth to the first post(NO MATTER WHO WROTE IT) in this thread-except the Jay helfert part that was blown out of porportion, Jay dosent knock action or use such strong words-he is way too smart for that.

and because I'm the instigator of this match and was half the $$$ I will talk about it, Mike needs to be a bit more humble and get up for a match-going in like your going to rob someone dosent work, I have spent enough time with guys who can give mike or Bartrum(maybe) the 8,9 and the last 3 playing 10 ball and they never act like they are gonna rob someone even if they know they can, thats the wrong mind set to have going into any match. Chris saw it in the beginning so did I and believe me I told Mike not to think that way-it wont win you a tight match. Am I mad? no. Will Mike be mad I posted this probably but thats ok, I can handle mad and perhaps this will help humblem him some, he is a good guy who I respect.

Chris like Mike played alot to prepair for the match, but went in to it confident yet cautious and that will get the $$$ more often than not, when Mike learns that he will do better, he has a real high gear-he showed it but couldnt hold it. Chris was solid and consistane, I have seen Mike play that way too, but not against someone as strong as Chris. Mike has alot of potential and over a year or 2 he will get it all sorted out, is he the next Archer? no. But is he in the big leagues not yet but he will get there, he has to learn from this game and move on.

Will there be a rematch? I dont know. I dont like the bet anymore from either side. If there is it wont be a Fatboy production.

Chris isn't good with computer so I post what he wants said always have.......Jay Helfert talked shit about how mike was stealing and this and that and the other and so did mike.....They talked a lot of shit

So why shouldn't he wanna talk alittle bit back after he robbed them...Its a littile ribbing u know....

OH and as far as Hunter Lombardo can go I think I can speak for anyone that really knows him he is a lying little maggott...Here is a question for Hunter ask him why he screwed his good buddy Corey Deuel for 13k on financing his house? And that a 100% true...
You have always posted in the first person in an attempt to make us believe that you are Chris Bartram. Now it appears that Chris does not post with this name at all, and you have just been fraudulently impersonating him. Some people have stated that the "real" Chris has said that more than one person is using this screen name, and that none of them are him.

There is no difference between this and someone who uses multiple screen names to pretend to be other people, and we know how most people feel about that. All multiple screen names get banned when discovered.

If someone wants to post for Chris then do it under your own screen name, and just say "Chris Bartram asked me to post this and tell everyone blah blah whatever."

If someone has the occasional need to post under someone else's account like Chris Bartram's for example, then the first line of EVERY post you make should start something like "This is so and so posting under Chris's account and he wanted me to make this post for him saying blah blah whatever."

The "chris bartram" screen name should be banned for impersonation, just like a multiple screen name. According to several reports it does not even appear that Chris uses or even has access to it.

Quick question.

If this clown is an imposter and everyone knows it, how does he acquire 5 green rep squares after 40 posts?
It should be raining red on this guy.
And I agree the moderators should probably recognize this situation and take action.

I am editing my post because it seems like the thread was started by an imposter.
I still say its no big deal to talk smack after you win especialy when poeplie were talking smack to you or about you before hand.
Soo to all you cry babies who gave me bad rep because your precious little feelings got hurt.....I am soooo sooorry!!! grow a set!

Agreed.

If you want to create your own screen name, fine.

I am banning Chris's ( your's ) and if he ever wants to contact me personally to discuss otherwise, well, let's cross that bridge when we come to it.

I have a VERY good idea who's making these posts using Chris' name. He happens to be a big NIT who woofed at me last year to bet $10,000 on a shot and weaseled out of the bet, after I offered to pay his plane fare to California.

He is mad at me for calling him out, but that's his problem. This is a guy who frequently lets his mouth get his ass in trouble. Why Chris would hang around with a low class guy like this I have no idea. He should only know how he is being represented on here.

I think this same guy has been banned from AZ before, so Dave Wilson may want to take a look at this situation. I'm not a moderator so it's not up to me. What the legalities are using someone else's name to post on the internet I don't know. I'd like to bet $1,000 to a dime I know who it is. Caught you McNit!

Looks like good timing!

I am not going to speak for Chris. (seems like we already have someone doing that). All I am saying is that I talked to him and he said he never has posted on AZ

To the content of the original post I will say this. Knowing Jay for a few years, he loves pool. He loves pool players. He loves up and coming talent and it excites him because it builds up the game.
Sometimes this excitement clouds reality but nevertheless it is this kind of excitement that makes pool fun. He knows from years of experience that someone will have to take the place of an Archer, Efren, Strickland. Thats why we love Alex and Shane so much. Not only are they great but they are continuing and building the game we all love.
Jays role is a nourisher. Thats why he got so excited with the likes of John Morra after the Derby. When Morra kept running out in the after hour ring games with Archer and company. He was going around touting Morra over Justin Bergman after that and one could see why if they had seen Morra at the Derby. Bergman was not there.
So if Jay was high up on Mike D is not because he was downplaying Chris B's game it was because he and others saw the great potential in Mike D's game. Chris did show class and it was all in the playing. And this post by a fraud mars the great competition that was held by both men.
