I will be there and hopefully wont get shutout. I must have missed something as i thought once you missed the mail in deadline there was no way to sign up early except be there friday night.
I am going to try and get there early and beat the 101 traffic tomorrow. Might have to get in the area real early to do that

Hope to see some AZers there. Should be fun even though I havent been able to play much at all and almost zero on a big table. Great venue to spend some time watching and playing.

You can sign up for the Swanee any time after about two weeks before the event.
So you could sign up tonight or tomorrow. It may risky waiting until Saturday AM.
We have over 100 already signed up - probably closer to 120. We only allow 192 to play. If it does not fill up on Friday night, we accept sign ups Saturday morning.
Place opens up at 5 PM on Friday. And 9 AM on Saturday.
Matches will be starting around 9:30 am.
Hope to see everyone there.

I actually had lunch with Max yesterday and yep, he is going down there.
Mark, Jay, Maybe a board or something can be put up on some wall where the AZ members can sign in at. It would be interesting to see how many come to the event.
Sometimes at events like this I don't find out what members were there until its over. See you guys there for this great tournament that is in honor of the gentle giant.
