i agree.

it would be nice to see shane match up against someone who has won a major tournament recently... valley forge dont count

Shane vs. the Phillipines. I think Shane would agree to up the ante to play Efren, Francisco, Dennis, Ron or Alex in the TAR format, no spot, winner breaks. Why not play for $50k?

I may be the only one who feels this way, but because the only way to view TAR is by live feed for several hours over a 3 day period, I will not purchase it....

Now If it could be recorded and kept for personal viewing at my convenience, that would be different... I would buy the ones that I wanted to watch...

I would also buy a DVD set featuring 3-4 matches that I wanted to see, if the price wasn't outrageous.... Maybe $100

Maybe as the company grows and they get all of their equipment paid for these things will be possible...

I hope it is, because I appreciate what they are doing for the sport.

i agree with this it's a key point - i bought the earl - svb match because i'm a huge earl fan and to support the action report, but i was only able to watch a few racks because of the time difference and having work the next day. for me the sessions started at half past midnight! a delayed viewing option needs to be introduced otherwise i won't purchase the next one as i cant afford to throw money away.

I'd not only pay again, but I'd stay up all night and take the next day off work to see SVB play Busta:D , or Efren (my second choice). Reason being, the break and Busta's proclivity for 9-10 Ball.

That being said, I'd sure like to see a mic on Keith playing on a bar box with anyone worthy for the cheese. I guarantee it would be entertaining!

I too think the delayed version is a good idea. Maybe if someone pays they can have the option to get it on DVD? Whatever works, it's great for the game and I'll continue to sign up. As an additional thought, these matches should all be on good mics...Tom

Do it like the US Open...

Maybe Justin and Chad could do it like the open where you have a week to watch an archived match. I think their production and streams have been better than the open and we have been watching them at the pool room while playing so it has been pretty cool.

BCN's stream at the open was so over-hyped, they claimed 'state of the art HDTV quality' TAR's quality was just as good if not better, and for half the price!

I Agree...

The TAR streams have had much better picture quality than the BCN streams. I did however like that fact that I could watch the matches from the archive for a full week after the US Open was completed.

I'd buy them all if they archived it... I'd rather watch it with no lag... At least a pause option to let it buffer 30 minutes would be nice on the live feeds...

JCIN, please offer them archived. I have DSL but it is still too slow to enjoy it so its a waste of money for me... I am more than willing to let you seperate me from some of my resources but you got offer a better product first (archived)...

And yeah, SVB vs top Phillipino players would be the best matchups at the moment. I'd love to see them...

I'm also for an archived, downloadable version. I'd settle for a DVD version even tho it means I have to pay for shipping.

In fact I did pay for the first action challenge DVD, which was a little steep at 75ish bucks, but it's like 15 hours of footage. Eagerly waiting to see it. I'm willing to pay the same for shane vs. earl but it does sting a little.

I think in order to make some serious cash you have to include the Europeans. They are very PC adept and willing to pay to watch a Neils Feijen or a Ralf Souquet or a Darrel Peach play Shane.
Of course a Bustamante or an Orcullo would be great pool. But that Euro market is gold.
Maybe a round robin type of thing with a Taiwanese player added to the mix would be great too.
You could have orders coming in all over the globe.

I think TAR has to work out the kinks with their feed first. I had a difficult time getting it. I know others didnt. ANd I heard the first Action CHallenge people could just tap into it without paying. I still cant get the 20/20 Schmidt/Harriman battle. And why are we talking to Chad and Justin on AZ billiards? THey should make their forum the main place.
