I'm a relatively new member here. I have never participated in any flame war. I don't know a single person here on the forums, and I join no alliances. So I'm speaking as a purely objective observer. At least from this thread, YOU are the one out of line Straybullet. Colin is completely correct, Marissa said nothing wrong. It is you that is creating trouble where there in none.straybullet said:Whats the use????
Dear Dr. Colin
Im not picking hairs. I was not being hostile. I posted some things about Jeanette that I thought Marissa should know about her. Quit playing this game where you try to act intellectually superior to everyone. You're only impressing yourself - and looking like an idiot in the process. It's annoying. How's that for being psychoanalytical? You're welcome. No need to respond, no need for a PM - you're defending Marissa in hopes that someday you might get some. So quit trying to paint me as a mean person - and dont you dare try to insinuate that I don't know what I'm talking about because I'll embarrass you and I'll do it with a smile on my face. The Redneck America statement she made was ridiculous. Not being of Asian heritage (Living in China doesnt count) you wouldn't understand where I am coming from - but Marissa does - so I pointed it out to her. Once again - thanks for trying to take another cheap shot at me - Here's all your ammunition - go cry to Mike and go tell on me - tell him how hostile I am... Wahhhhhhhhhhhh. Once again we have another thread go into the dumper for the same reason. Imagine that. I think I've more than scrutinized your scrutinization.
PS: Nobody like a pompous pain in the ass - just a tip.
Anyways, let's try to stick with the topic of the thread, shall we? I agree with Marissa...the statement that Jeanette Lee is the "most feared" pool player is simply inaccurate. She got a spot on the article simply because she is the most recognized pool player in America. And no, I am not taking anything away from Jeanette Lee and her accomplishments (and neither was Marissa). The simple fact is that you can think of dozens of other pool players that are more feared, simply because they are *better* than J. Lee as of this moment.
