Jim, I have enjoyed all the interviews you have done so far, great work documenting these great players.

Thank you very much.

I put Jennifer's interview on the site in the big viewer. It will be there till next Monday night. www.go4pool.net

Thanks,
Jim

Great interview Jim. Well I have to say that I was wrong about Jenn. I always heard she was a snob and full of herself. Just goes to show, not to judge people by what others say about them. She seems like a truely nice down to earth person. When she took off a year after her son was born I said to myself, "this is not the "it's all about me" person I was led to believe she was". I'm a fan of hers now and look forward to seeing her in the top 10. Johnnyt

Jennifer Barretta's Interview

I enjoyed watching the interview with Jennifer and getting to know more about her. I can see why some of the other female pros might be a little jealous of her looks, but she can't help it because she was blessed with her great looks. I hope to get to see her play again on TV soon. I have the match on tape when she beat Allison Fisher on ESPN. I was pulling for her, but it was a big hill to climb to knock off Allison on ESPN, but she did it.

Jim,

Thanks for posting this interview -- I've learned so much from Jen about how to manage the haters and without her advice and support, I'd probably have let them beat me ... she's way cooler than people give her credit for. She's a GREAT player and more importantly, a GREAT person.

Thanks again Jim for letting people see a side of her that many don't get to see.

The only time I met Jennifer in person was at a WPBA event about 4 years ago. I introduced myself out of the blue at the hotel and she was very cordial, open and seemed genuinely appreciative that I knew who she was. She also remembered my face the next day after her match and stopped to talk. With the WPBA pulling her away to sign merchandise, I thought that was very nice gesture on her part.

Does anyone have a link to the ring game she played in? i remember she did pretty well in it.

i clicked on the link in the thread and i didn't see an interview

The interview

I always saw Jennifer as being very quiet as she says, but when she got in front of the camera her personality filled the room. A very professional person. I would think that many people have been surprised by this interview. That is good if it is true because, very rarely, do you get a chance to hear these players talk about their lives. Thanks for all your nice comments. More interesting players in the weeks to come.

Thanks,
Jim

Great Interviews

I have watched several of your player interviews Jim and have to say you have done a wonderful service to all of us by allowing us to listen to great stories from pros that are insightful and interesting. Thank you for offering these out for anyone to see and giving us the opportunity to get the "close up and in person" views. Incredible cases!!!!

Must watch

The Ginky interview - I had heard about the back problems - but I have a ton of respect for him now as a person coming out with his alchohol and drug issue. That interview hit me pretty hard - I hope he clean again and falling in love with playing again as well.

great work again, Jim

I enjoyed the interview very much, and she is a very cool, nice person from what I saw in it.

I wish we had some players like Gail Glazebrook in my area. She's a doll and she loves pool, what a combo.......
