Hello to all those in AZ raffle land. This is my first attempt at a raffle, and I set up a real nice cue and case combo.
This is a Jerry Rauenzahn cue. It was made as an exact copy down to every last measurement of a Gus Szamboti cue for a collector who also owned the Gus; even the veneers are matched down to the real tulipwood veneer closest to the inside. As everyone knows, Jerry -R- is the man to go to for these classic style cues.
Here is the description:
-4 points ebony with 4 veneers: brown, orange, white, tulipwood (outside-inside) into birdseye forearm
-Steel joint with 5/16x14 pin
-Maple and red dash rings at positions A, B, and E
-Ebony butt, Delrin butt cap with -R- logo
-Green and white spec linen
-2 shafts, ivory and LBM ferules, 12.8 & 12.7mm with moori tips
-weight is approximately 19.5 ounces, I'm going to the post office to get exact weight
-Cue is used but in really great shape. There are a couple of dings in the forearm that can be felt but not seen, as the finish is in really great shape.
-comes with Ron Thomas black embossed teju lizard 1x2 case
