OK, but that still doesn't explain why any top player can "control the rock" with a finely shaped broomstick.

I guess we'll just have to agree to disagree because I don't think I follow you.
Mr Koop:)
You are insane! Did you mean mop handle? And not in my universe.
Jimi Rempe used to just take a cue down off the wall and just shred people to pieces. You might have got me if you said house cue!

I let one person hit with it so far he owns a Hershick and a Nice Scruggs and he ordered one three days later so maybe I am nuts! But the cue speaks for itself.

A hershick?? Each time you post you show your @$$ more and more.

Also Jimbo how does it feel when someone butts into your thread!

As is always my take, threads can often times take on a life of their own, I don't much mind what we talk about as long as someone is having fun. Plus as I've already said each one of your posts exposes you for who you are and what you know, so please by all means carry on.

And I know what objectivity and subjectivity are but I mught not be able to spell them! Sorry all but this man just is a little to pompous for me and it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out you are a CRAB and your birthday is on your Scruggs cue.

LOL I'm glad you're no rocket scientist it's not my B-day, but it's not a bad guess I spose, you need to be able to string 14 racks in a row before I'll tell you what it means. Unfortunatley for me I'm a bit older then 71:-(

As usual I am sure I am wrong! Bet something!

Bet your new super cue LOL I knew that would shut you up. What would you like me to put up???

Also that is what Dennis and I said to each other!

I'm sorry I am not smart enough to follow this, how does that conversation go??

And yes the better you play the better you can use yoyr talent when you have a great playing cue. And yes It takes a great player to know just how a cue really plays.

All I can say is that the only person I know to string 11 racks is Earl, and Earl told me his cuetech is the best playing cue he's used. But still the group is very small so I spose you might have a point. I also used to play lots of pool with Dennis back in the late 80's early 90's and I never saw him come close to running 10 straight racks. One more question on this point. Out of all the people *YOU* know who can run 10+ racks in a row why wouldn't they all play with the same cue, or at least the same joint?

I work for a living.

Let me guess, Rocket scientist????

The only successful gamble I have ever knew was in my family. Those odds don't excite me. I grew up around people like Jimi Rempe and Gary Penkowski and Allen Keil and they were all great but I never saw the future in pool as they did.

Ummm I've heard of Jimi Rempe, he plays with a Meucci, have you seen the pics of my collection??? Can Jimi run 10 racks in a row? LOL

The last time I took all of July off I did run alot of racks 13 and 11 of nine ball. But I really could care less. I work for a living. Some of you guys need to get a life!
Nick

Why do we need to get a life? If you can run 11's and 13's then I would beg you to play in some of the bigger weekend tourneys, I'll put you in if you're broke.

Big Laugh

John Schmidt and his backer Randy White watched me run the last 9 or 10 of the 13 rack run ask them! And Jimbo that would be July First 7 TS 1 but you should have been born on april first!
One other thing
Jimbo seriously thank you for the offer to put me in. You might have gotten a friend for life! I am not broke I just find my time with my family more precious than tounrament pool. I am practicing now and who knows? I am happy to see real money come to pool and now that it is more than what I make working I have a little motivation.

I am sure you are far from insane also. And thanks for your civil response.
I think I will go away now!
Nick

Post away buddy. I have a hard time taking any of this stuff seriously anyway :)

I Don't know:

Jimbo if you sell your collection I'd hold on to the Tomahawk. You might want to post it from time to time for all to see. Nothing like a little Tomahawk to put a little sunshine in your day. You know once their gone
their gone. Just something to think about.

Ken I said a trade, no sales involved, IMO that doesn't make me a dealer at all. Maybe a wheeler dealer. The deal has been done BTW stay tuned for pics.

Jim<----- A new collection.

I'm sure it happens so often that you have plenty of eye whitnesses.

And Jimbo that would be July First 7 TS 1 but you should have been born on april first!

I may be a fool, but you asked me to bet, I offered up a bet I am still waiting for you to accept before I answer any more of your line of questioning.

Deal is off, I didn't know you can only play when you take a month in the summer off to practice, i thought you either can or can't play. But it would seem to me that now that you are out of stroke you no longer have the ability to tell if a cue plays good.

I am not broke

If you say so.

I just find my time with my family more precious than tounrament pool. I am practicing now and who knows? I am happy to see real money come to pool and now that it is more than what I make working I have a little motivation.

Yeah i think you'll give Efren a run for his money with the new cue and all, maybe you should take off June and July this year.

Jim

Done Deal

I am happy to announce the trade went through. I was not sure what to do, I've worked long and hard to put together my collection, and as you all know the cues were Rare and Hit a Ton, that's a killer combination.
I thought long and hard and after some great advice from well respected collector Marcus (F&L) I decided this was the best move for me.
I hope you guys like my NEW collection.
