Jl- vv match

Will we have a chance to watch it on the net?

That is "negative"! I heard, WPBA owns all the players' media rights and would not allow anyone else to stream or ppv unless it is ran by them or pay the sanctioning fee.

I was taught when I had nothing good to say to say nothing at all. I know...since when:angry:. Johnnyt

How disappointing! I was all ready to get comfy and watch these two ladies battle it out! Can someone keep us poor AZ'ers posted on the results or better yet, sneak a camera in and stream? jk about the under-cover streaming, but if someone could keep us updated that would be great and would get lots of greenies from me!

Strange is all I have to say. Here is a "tour" with six whole events and they "own" the players media rights. I'm surprised any player would go for a deal like this. They need a chance to earn a living too. They sure can't make it with six events a year.

Exactly-Ive been saying that for 3-4 years. I dont think A judge would uphold the WPBA on that. I thought the WPBA would be smart enough to issue waivers liberally until they can offer a real tour.

Wow...all you have to do around here is say that you "heard" something...and people take it as gospel and jump on a bandwagon. The WPBA has not told anyone that these players cannot stream their challenge match.

I don't think it was ever spelled out for them clearly, but I was told it's stated on the player agreement that each player must sign in order to participate.

There are some players that had flied under the radar, i.e. Monica Webb and Sarah Rousey - Women's TAR Challenge - however, that probably will be one and only.:(

Hey Melissa,

I guess you're right... people sure make up funny things sometimes...I'm sure there is a good reason why Jeannette and Viv doesn't want their action to be streamed... too bad:(

Hey Sunny. That wasn't directed at you..and I apologize if it came off that way.

I just wish that people would deal in facts, not rumors, gossip, conjecture and assumptions.

I do not know what plans JL and VV have or have not made with regards to streaming at this point. I only know that the WPBA...as of this moment it time...has not said or done anything in regards to the matter.
