I've been hired to do a four day gig at the Super Billiard Expo and will be working for Inside Pool Magazine. (thanks Jay). It will be for four days, March 19-22. Tune in to watch many of the top matches live with me as the anchor commentator.

The commentary that I will be doing is for the professional player's tournament and the Live Streaming broadcast will be LIVE & FREE!

If you get a chance to, please check in and say hello. The link for the free Live Streaming should be:
http://www.ustream.tv/channel/inside-pool-extreme-press-box

It would be great to hear from you guys and girls in the chat room.

Thanks,
JoeyA

Awesome stuff. You should use your newly found position to grab a camera and so some what's in the case segments. They are awesome.

You know, I'm really, really, REALLY glad the streaming video from the Expo will be free, even though I'll be biting nails with withdrawal from my computer, while I"m gone. I didn't have time to buy a laptop. Oh well!

Congrats, JoeyA! I'm sure you'll do well.

I was trying to get Lenny for the Artistic Pool Masters, but we never managed to get enough of the needed answers to go forward on it. It would have been great to have the Masters on free streaming video. We have lots of trick shot customers - especially the young'uns and some in other countries - who can't go, but would have loved to watch.

For those, like me, who have too much on their plate, I suggest you go to the above site NOW (before you forget), scroll down to the right, and click on "follow" under the heading "Schedule". In so doing, ustream will send you an email reminder of this event. Click "follow" under the video itself as well so that any future live streaming will "pop-up" when entering your "dashboard".

JoeyA:

I hope to take some of this in but am not sure how much at this time. I'm on Spring Break and the wifey has this "Honey-do" list as long as your cue! I never thought I would ask for more of this; but, COME ON SNOW!!!!!

<BTW: This site is on the AZBersLiveStreamList at bottom! ;) >

That would have been a nice added touch -- Lenny would have done an excellent job. Perhaps things can get worked out in time -- hope so anyway!

Wouldn't be the first time that they have gone in behind us and made a deal with a promoter.

Mike

Mike - is this news to you reading it here or did you already know?

Seems like this is out of the ordinary business practice for JR Calvert and InsidePool. They are always on the up and up.

Congrats Joey

Have fun and dont forget us little people. Wait.. I dont think I qualify
as a little person.

Please drop a few tributes to Tampa Tubby for us. :crying:

It's just my opinion, but I think there is definitely room for more than one streamer at the event. If nothing else, this speaks of what a great event it truly is. It is a huge event and so much is always going on. Anyway, if there are multiple streamers, you have an option on what angle, what commentator, or what event you want to see... like flipping channels on tv. There would probably be a lot of folks with multiple browsers open, watching as many of the feeds as they can find.

If anyone wants to help Lenny afford to get there so he can stream the Artistic Pool Masters, he already has a place to stay.

Best of luck to all the streamers. If I was stuck at home, I'd truly appreciate every one of you, because I would definitely want to see as much of the weekend as possible, online.

Y'all all be careful getting there and back home.

I don't qualify as a little people, either.:frown: One of these days..... "I'll be Bach."

Deseradata

Mike: I don't know anything about the business end of the Live Streaming business. I hope you know that I wouldn't do anything to intentionally hurt you or embarass you.

I started this thread to celebrate with my AZ B friends something that I had a lot of fun doing previously. The AZ Billiards Main Forum has become my main forum of text communication with the pool world and I've had a lot of fun in it.

The Deseradata contains the words and feelings that I try to live my life by.

Mike, if my posting this thread causes you "difficulty" you may remove it at your convenience. I know its not like you need my permission or anything but "I'm just sayin'."

Thanks for all you do for the pool world regardless.

To:

MJR77: It has long been of interest to the pool community and even the scientific community as to contents of Bob Jewett's case. If I cross paths with Bob, I will make an endeavor to discover the precious contents of his case that is so closely guarded but I shalt not do it by stealth.

Scott Lee: Yes, I have a room. BoraDriver as usual has come to my rescue. What a guy! And thanks for asking.

Catpool9: David, I look forward to being illuminated by your input in the chat room.

Barry Doc: According to the Home Page of AZ Billiards, they will indeed by Live Streaming the Valley Forge Tournament. It has always been my opinion that many of the matches are lost to the Live-Streaming audience do to the fact that it is difficult to stream more than one match at a time. Hopefully, the multiple streamers (TAR is also supposed to Live Stream as I recall) will create additional interest in the viewing public and make Live Streaming more popular than ever. At least that is my greatest hope.

Jes Piddlin: We will just have to jog back and forth to the hotel's computer room, checking in on the AZ Main Forum to get our "daily" fix.
I too wish Lenny would be there as I am looking forward to meeting him.

cmbwsu: Bob, R U sure U aren't a marine. Those instructions for obtaining the email reminder is awesome. Bring on the snow! Snow in March? It's shirt sleeve weather for us since middle of December. :)

Ktown D: At least you won't have to face me, Tal (Da Poet's Son) or Roy with any more bets about who's horse can beat who's horse. :winknudge:

Cuaba: C U there.

frankncali: When R U coming home? I won't forget Tampa Tubby nor will any of you. Thanks for the kind words "big boy".:)

stikapos: Please save the cracks for the Chat Room.:shocked: :grin-square:

To the rest of the AZBers: It's only a few days away before I will be taking the rigid winged bird for the trip.
I hope we'll all pass a good time no matter who's live streaming you're watching. Just remember to take cmbwsu's advice on the email reminder AND GET TWO OR THREE COMPUTERS TOGETHER AND WATCH ALL OF OUR LIVE STREAMING SIMULTANEOUSLY. Either that, or maybe you can jockey back and forth.

JoeyA (wondering how I am going to have a chance to still toss back a cold one with Mike and Jerry).

Wasn't a crack, Joe. Just trying to get a giggle. Don't be so serious. Geez Louise. Being funny ain't my day job and neither is your commentary on pool matches. If you didn't think it was funny, just roll your eyes and I'll try to stop by and wish you good luck.
