No doubt, John has become very busy since he re-entered the field, but he's a good man and he treated me fairly and right. Actually, I'm pleased to hear that he is focusing more on cues than blanks!
Perfect, thank you. I have not been able to contact John yet and all of his shafts that I have seen had the 1/2" ivory collars. If I had previously seen different joint configurations this fishing expedition would have been unnecessary. From what I understand, he can make a blank out most woods as long as they go together; however, if you want a more traditional splice combination, he'll probably have them lying around more readily.
