John does the ridiculously long bridge at times for some reason.I obviously wasn't referring to this specific run. I am referring to how high runs often end for elite players.
Yes. i agree. Also very nice that they used that racking method to not have any "funny business"I think today's chalk is such a huge advantage for today's players in comparison to Mosconi's era, or even just ten years ago. It would be difficult to make 800 rolling cue ball, half ball hits in a row WITH ball in hand without a skid causing a miss with the traditional chalks.
On YouTube, you can control the playback speed. Bottom right. The gear icon. change it to .25Can someone with more technical prowess slow mo that last shot skid?
It looks like he just punted it before being fully set up on the shot.
Hard to see the ball turning at regular speed.
Fantastic run BTW.
Now I don't feel bad for not putting up any decent runs whatsoever on crappy diamonds with old cloth and tight pockets.
Need to go find some bucket GCs
He hit it too hard. FxF shows nothing. Mise wella just missed. On YouTube, you can control the playback speed. Bottom right. The gear icon. change it to .25
I guess he just improvises through the considerable shit he knows/can do.Watched the second century (lol) and the patterns became more difficult as he got more contemplative about it. Maybe the conditions deteriorated somewhat. No real issues.
okay i didnt know they recognized high runs. The BCA recognizes high run records and has since its founding. Lots of people consider that official.
Feet only, only.would the world record hundred yard dash be recognized if someone ran it downhill.
The BCA published regulations for exhibition high runs after they got surprised by John's 626. I've posted them here before.okay i didnt know they recognized high runs.
but generally sanctioned events for records set a standard to play by.
all these high runs set their own standards to adhere to. and are reviewed as videoed which is good, and proves it happened.
but if they are going to recognize them shouldn't they set the playing standards strictly so all competitors have to play in the same conditions.
and why dont they if they are going to be the body that does it.
would the world record hundred yard dash be recognized if someone ran it downhill.
Not sure but he run 821 by this time next weekWhat was Shaw's number again?
Coild (lol) be. Looks like Schmitt got the high run symphony down though. He been at it longer and musta figured out a thing or two.Not sure but he run 821 by this time next week

Thanks for the clarification. Someone else mentioned this earlier in the thread.
