i know dannys ready but since we played i dont have a picture above my bed thinking about getting revenge.

since we played ive remodled my house ,got into dirt bikes ,went to tourneys worked on some other projects to make money in short im busy.
now because all hes thought about is me as he lives on his friends couch 4 feet from pooltable with no house,live in girlfriend, dog or hobbies ,golf dirt bike , remodeling etc and plays ten times more aweek than i do .
im ducking him if i dont jump when he wants to play.
frankly i dont care about what he wants and secretly i take pleasure out of making him wait.
if we play or not ive got a life ,im not sure he can say the same.
if i am going to go through the b.s. of preparing for a match i can play a guy like kirkwood or bartrum who will be a perfect gentleman win or lose.

I think everyone can read just how verbally abusive and bitter John really is, I also have a house in Spfd, MO that I'm working on, and a girlfriend. When John wanted a rematch against me I did not say that I have a life and he possibly did not. Don't worry John after you just insulted me again I will not play unless I'm guaranteed an appearence fee. No we won't sit down and discuss the rematch, I would'nt walk across the street to have a cup of coffe with u. Just one more point Jingleheimer your name is not my name too - I also have pleasure in the fact that you want to duck me. Since u seem to know so much about me - ALL YOU REALLY NEED TO KNOW SCMIDTTY IS THAT YOU WON'T GIVE ME A REMATCH AS IT SOUNDS TO ME LIKE ANYTIME SOON. Are you kidding me? Maybe someone should just take two weeks off and then quit? And people wonder why it's so hard to find a game these days? Pool is struggling in most parts of the country right now and and seeing crap like this doesn't help...What happend to the days when you lived for that next match up?? Good God both of yall should look at what your saying...HE said this she said that...Screw it...You're professionals move past it and play the game for what it is...

I have a better Idea...Why don't you guys give TAR 6 months to sell the DVDs and stuff...If you guys play now the second DVD would be worthless...But If you play in 6 months...they can make a triology DVD set...

Another things is...why don't you guys make the bet more interesting? Stop betting with other peoples money..Play for your own...Heck bet a dollar I don't care...

you know i was so proud of myself. i completely stayed off here for months .
now im dumb enough to get back on and for what.
to defend and explain myself .
maybe someday pool tourneys will pay enough to be worth going to.
then i will not have the time to get on here and argue and defend myself about stupid crap like a poolmatch.
ive played 100 bigmoney matches on my own money against tough opponents .
now because i dont want to play danny im being difficult.

You wonder why baseball, football, soccer, hockey, and basketball are so strong and pool is dying? Those players get paid for what they do, but they don't expect extra money for showing up or anything else..This is so sad..

Danny I remember when you used to go up to that place in Springfield and charge like 5 or 10 bucks per person to give a lesson every Wed. night..

Guys seeing players like y'all in the pool room is what it's all about..Y'all have been blessed with something most of us don't have and it's called natural ability..Now combine that with your hard work...and look what you have achieved in the past..Neither of you are millionares..nor will you ever be..but you're both doing something that you love..

Seeing you guys in the pool rooms everyday just matching up like you used to is what it's all about..People in the pool rooms miss that kind of action, and both of you have just explained what it is that is happening..

It's just like last year when I ran that big one pocket tournament certain players wanted their entries paid or their flights taken care of to come down and play in the event..No one in the game today is that good...and I think everything should be earned...When and If I'm fortunate enough to own a pool room...I'll be damned to hell if I ever pay someones way to come and beat my locals in a tournament that they should win already..

All the pro players need to get back in the rooms and until then pool will continue to slowly die out accross the country..

There is no money in pool because there are no fans who spend money on pool. Everyone wants free table time and everything else. Consumers spending their hard earned money on tickets, clothes, souvineers etc. are what makes other sports what they are. Big companies advertise in those sports because fans buy their products when they advertise! Just how many pairs of shoes will Nike sell if they put on a big pool tournament? Most of the largest group of active pool players, league players, don't even know who the pros are or when they are playing! If you want pool to grow you have to support the game by purchasing products from those companies who do advertise in pool. You start by purchasing and watching the TAR matches. You start by joining a league and playing in your local pool rooms!

If you don't want pool to "DIE OUT" as you say, then get your friends together and support pool!

My comments were not really meant to be directed at anyone in particular, including you rachem, but everytime I hear people talking about how pool is dead and there is no money in it, they are always the ones who watch the free TAR broadcasts, but don't buy the PPV! I just see all these people who b*tch and complain all the time and they have no clue that they are the biggest part of the problem. At the same time they complain about no money in pool, they are wearing a nascar driver's hat, have a harley davidson wallet, and a football team jacket on.

It's just ironic! They all think that the money comes from the players somehow! That is just stupid!

I urge everyone to subscribe to all the magazines! Did you know that the average circulation of a pool magazine is under 25000 copies per month! And we wonder why ESPN won't foot the bill to put pool on TV! More people will watch a hot dog eating contest than watch pool.

Wow, I am such a huge fan of both Danny & John. I feel upset & disappointed by this arguing back & forth. I look up to these guys & I have to remind myself that they are both PROFESSIONALS. So many people want to see this matchup, but can't these guys just do it for the fans & squash this on the pool table? I will not attack either player, I have too much respect for their games & am humbled by their abilities. I hope they reconsider for the good of the game.
