Well then, if Freud died in 39', and if the photo is genuine, it would have been taken shortly before his death, say 1938, since that table didn't exist prior to 1937.

I do have doubts about the photo though.

There is no way that table existed in 1908.
1938 maybe. Not 1908. Look at it.

That pool table is Art Deco style; of the early 1920s, most likely. Late teens at the very earliest.

Pretty sure it's an old Brunswick.....played on a few like that as a kid.
They still had the net pockets...you can see them hanging at the corners.

It is likely a 20th Century from the 1930s - metal pocket shields...

Tho other manufacturers also made similar looking tables.
