Glad you posted. Hope others will post. Maybe when America's Most Wanted sees that people from all over the United States, knew and liked Mike they will air the story.

I hope so too Joey...Mike was too good of a person for this to happen too & for this crime to go unsolved would be such a injustice...hopefully more people will log in and type something..I see there are only 20 something replies...hopefully we can get that in the hundreds to show AMM that there's a national interest in this case.

Well I just went and registered and used the same name I have here. There are just to many creeps in the world and if this a way to get one it's certainly worth a few minutes of my time. So maybe the Good Guys can get one of the Bad Guys and send him someplace cozy for a while.

Maybe Gulfport Doc can get us a report on the progress of America's Most Wanted from the officer in charge of the investigation.

Joey, I talked with Lt. Flowers approx. two weeks ago. He's very optimistic that AMW will pick up the story. My unofficial hunch is that it's no better than 60-40 that they will. It's nice to see that many AZers have posted on their website.

I'm urging every AZer to post on the website and to let America's Most Wanted know that we are in different parts of the country and world and we all knew Mike Surber and want to see justice for him.
It could mean the difference between Mike's killer being found or not.
All it takes is a little time on your part to go to the web site and post a little something that you know about Mike. Who knows, your own personal post might be the motivation for AMW to put this story on national television.

Keep the interest alive people! Please take a few moments to register on Americas Most Wanted and make a post. It's REALLY important to keep our push going if we want AMW to do the story and to drastically improve the chances we catch the cowardly killer.

thanks for the heads up guys, I hadn't been to this thread in a min. I just registered and have to wait so I'll post as soon as it lets me. I sincerely hope that we get this on the show. Mike, his family and friends and all the people that knew him deserve to have this perpetrators head on a pig pole.

After you register, you will have to wait 24 hours before you can post in the thread but we've got a lot of folks who have now walked the walk, and I'm asking each and every one of you who reads this post, to take the time to register and leave a concise post about what you know about Mike Surber and how you feel about America's Most Wanted doing a story on Mike's MURDER.

I just went to America's Most Wanted Forum and counted the replies to the thread urging AMW to do the story on Mike Surber's murder and it was only 31 posts and some of those posts were by the same posters.
I would have thought more people would have taken time out of their days to post their thoughts about Mike.
When Mike was alive, he captivated many of us with his brilliant and tenacious one pocket game and his friendly manner. He was a generous guy and friendly to all who knew him including fans.
I know life is complicated and time is our most valuable commodity but Mike was worth something even if it is only a few minutes of your time.
You don't have to identify yourself with your real name. You can even create a new email account with hotmail, yahoo or whomever and use that email address so there really isn't any risk but even if there was a little risk, isn't it worth it?
What if the killer comes in your pool room next time, looking for an innocent victim AND IT'S YOU!
