Justin Bergman v Jayson Shaw....Oct 13 & 14

I'm taking Bergman, Eric.
No-brainer to pick Shaw? I can respect that.

IMO though, this is going to be a showcase for Bergman's "coming out."
He is going to beat Shaw not because he is a better player than Shaw,
but only because he is mentally tougher than Shaw. you watch.
Once Shaw realizes he doesn't like it, he is going to give up. Berg is
tough. It's his time to shine.

No he doesn't. Wanna gamble?

JB is a solid player, no doubt. No one's saying that he *can't* win. But, at the end day, I'm betting on Shaw, with anyone interested...

Eric, id bet on shaw as well, if it's even. I guess my point was him winning by 7 games. I would certainly take on some action via PM if there's a number thrown out there to make it the slightest bit tempting.

How many games are you looking for? Feel free to PM me.

Anybody know if this is at Justin's home room or not?

It's not his home room. His home room is Baxters in Illinois. Whenever he visits Missouri he plays out of Hillsboro, Kennys, & Teachers... Teachers has the most tables with streaming available and they even named one of their brand new 9 foot tables after Bergman. Still does not constitute it as his "home" room.

Agree 100%. Bergman is tougher mentally. Shaw only happy when he's running people over. Shane is a bit like that too. If alt break that would be a huge advantage for Berg.
He's a grinder.

It must be
He is going to give me 8 7 and that's where he wants to play .

That's worth something. I'll wait for the AZ wizards to make Shaw a nice favorite and then steal their money as usual once the line is too far out of whack. Jayson is a great player and all, but when is the last time he beat anyone outside a tournament that can really play?

He beat Morris a race to 21 at dcc last year .

you could probably only count on one hand anyone who would be the favorite against shaw...you might have to whip out the other hand and some toes for bergman. Slight edge to shaw 80-67.

He destroyed Morra in an all around

Isn't that when Dennis came from another turney missed a flight or was delayed got no rest and went straight to the match

True. Plus, it was a race to 15. Bergman's win over Oscar isn't that significant to me because I don't consider Oscar elite level, he's a top pro for sure, but not elite. I do give credit to Jayson losing only by a 7 game difference to SVB in a race to 100. That to me, is way more significant because SVB is elite.

Bergman does have wins over Biado and many other top players though, but in a long race, I like Jayson.
