Kamui Black tips

I see that the Kamui Black tips are about ready to be shipped out. Just wondering how long people think the price will stay at over $20 each. I remember when the first Kamui's came out, I was about to receive a cue and the maker asked if I would like to try a new tip out. I had the first ones in the area and was selling them for $15 to $20 each. That has been sometime back but not real long and now I just read somewhere that you can get them for $7.50 each.
 
i dont like layered tips at all, however the Blaco Kamui's I love. Max put one on his cue and I have used it for 30 mins I would guess and love it. I'm a med. riangle guy and that aint changing but I do like the Black Kamui's-since they are good now, like Moori's were back in the day I'm going to buy a few as spares, finding a good Triangle is a full time job sometimes(right now I have the best one I have ever had in 25 years).
 
I'm a LePro guy for years. Someone gave me a Mori tip about 5 years ago. I had it put on my S/P and it mushroomed so bad I ripped it off. Maybe it was a knock-off, maybe the guy that put in on didn't know how to put it on. Johnnyt
 
We'll have them for $19.95 in about a week or two when they arrive. Kamui has price restrictions in place so I don't think they'll be much lower than that. I think they are hitting the US early next week and then shipping to dealers. I was hoping to have them before Derby City since we are in Louisville but I don't think that's gonna happen. We'll post here when we get them in case anyone wants one.
 
I like layered tips.

I like Moori soft or Kaumi soft, and cant tell any difference between them.

What does the black have that these old soldgers do not?

best tip i ever played with was a good beat in lepro. a real close, and i mean real close second was the original moori tips.

i'd love to get some good single layered tips but i can't find a single layer tip worth a damn
 
Just received 10 med kamui. Cost me 122.00 with shipping and paypal fee's. Week dollar is killing the price.

I just received info that Moori has changed their glue and the quality is suffering since the passing of Mr. Moori.
Anybody here the anything similar????

$7.50 is not installed of course. I talked to a guy in Indianapolis when I had some for sale and he told me he could get them for $7.50 or $8 each and this was around April of last year. Don't know if this is true or not but needless to say I didnt sell any for what I was asking because of this.

$10 would be reasonable.
$20 is outrageous imo.
 
Got mine(kamui) for 12.20 a piece. With shipping and paypal.

I think I will stick with my source.
