Keith McCready and Keith Bennett played...what happened?

I happened to run across this picture which was posted on this forum in the past.

This is Keith McCready and "Big Jerry," the breaker referred to in that article, I think. :grin-square:

Keith Bennett, Keith Bennett, I knew I heard that name before.

Here's another picture I found on this forum of a Pickle with two Keiths in a headlock!

And I think, subject to check, after Keith Bennett lost a nickle to Keith McCready on the bar box, it was quickly swooped up by the dynamic duo of Ronnie Wiseman and Alex Pagulayan, a few nights later, with Alex breaking for Ronnie.

In fact, now that I think about it, Alex and Ronnie won both tournaments at the Carolinas Open that week!

All's fair in love and pool, as they say. Here's Ronnie, McCready, and Alex hamming it up for the camera. ;)

Thanks JAM, I kind of questioned whether the article was real or fake at first but without a doubt it's real now. The pictures definitely add to it. FWIW I think Keith Bennett is going to get there...he's focused now.

It IS a well-writen article. My respectful question is: did the word-perfect JAM proof it for Keith? You guys need to write a book!

Great write up by Keith! Very entertaining and insightful. I enjoyed that one most definately!

Don't you feel like you were there when you read it...i can imagine everyone of them thinking they were hustling the other person before the matches started. Races to 9 let's bet a nickle or dime, hate to see the hourly rate on those sets haha.

I liked it!

Yeah, most definately! I'm pretty sure JAM helped our man Keith out with the literary side, but I'm not opposed one bit! Keith's character comes across nicely and the descriptiveness is impeccable. It really comes through well and I would love to see more from them as a team. I'm sure this type of writing with Keith reminiscing about his "road" life would be one great read for sure!

They're their great pair!

It was a good write up. I have heard of Ronnie and Alex using that one on a few other people as well. Good Stuff

The two-lane road into town is adorned with small farms that grow tobacco, vegetables, and a little cotton.

ADORNED... ADORNED :rotflmao1:... OMFG, Keith.

... that HAS to be a JAM edit. I bet cha it used to say... filled with small farms.
