Keith McCready coming out of retirement!

Just woke up today and I'm fresh as a daisy, raring to go. I've been thinking about this pool game, well, supposedly a pool game.

All these knockers and naysayers talk big, want to try to put somebody down, saying what they can and can't do, wanting to antagonize people to play, but guess what? I was hitting balls all night last night, and it won't take me as long as I thought it would to get back in the pit.

I called James and left a message. He never called me back. I'm not trying to be smart or anything, but I'm sort of starting to get eager.

Just remember one thing. There's always a paddle for somebody's ass, no matter how good they play.

So here I am in waiting with my cabbage and my cuestick and nowhere to go. Hope I get a response today. This is exciting to me, like a kid in a candy store.

THAT'S what I'm talkin' about!

...but hit some more balls...you need pool stamina after a layoff.

It doesn't get much better than his, a legend all fired up
Great start to my day

You're definitely right. Stamina is always a factor. It used to be in a lot of the games I played in. I figured I could wear my opponents down. In this case, I'm on the other end of it. I got enough battle scars in me to realize what's happening and weather the storm. Like I said before, there's always a paddle for somebody's ass, no matter how straight they shoot.

I'll be 56 my next birthday, a little old, but I still have a little lightning in my jug. I'm not completely burned up yet. When I was 25, I'd swim a river's sh*t to play somebody almost 60 years old. Who wouldn't?

I am here to back myself up, back myself up to all the naysayers that said I wouldn't play. I'm not like them. I'm not going to go crawl in a hole and try to dig myself out. I'm coming right out with it, where 99 percent of the people in the whole world wouldn't even think about playing, but I'm that 1 percent. Never been scared, never will be. So let's dance.

Both Parica (for sure) and Efren (pretty sure) are older than you, and they both went way far in this years US Open. 55 is the new 35, get back in (sidearm) stroke, the game could totally use an injection of ether.

At least one thing is important:

That Keith has fun-nothing else. All other things then just will come as time goes by.

If I was on the GAL, I would be wobbling back to Team Keith again.
Just can't make up my mind.
The Kid or Keith, I think it's now a pick em, 6-5 odds with the juice going to AZ.

There you are folks a mans man has just spoken and is ready to roll again, Mr.McCready what will the game be and on what size table, and where possiable will it be held, since you are much older and just coming out of retiredment you should get to pick the place and time! This reminds me of about 10years ago here in baltimore ,Tony Long was playing his top game and he went hunting to play a retired Cigar Tom Vanover 10 ahead for 10000 over at Sonnys bar across from sonnys pool hall, well it did go down as Did Mr. Long in a very short 50 minutes, 10 ahead for 5000 was what they really bet Tonys side didnt come up with the other 5000, this match reminds me of the same thing(dont go f---ing with a champion unless you are one yourself)! Like i said earlier i will bet all i have on Keith if it is played some where near Baltimore or DC area! If played some where else i will bet , but not all i have!

Good luck to all i might have to make a road trip to sweat this.the keither is something to behold when he gets it going i hope they play bar box rotation pool but any game putting keith back in action will be great

Glad to see you fired up, Keith. P.S. There's always Mike Lebron's record of the oldest player to win the Open.......think about it........

It should be a PPV LiveStream.........

James Davis, Jr. has continued to raise his stock in each and every tournament he plays in.

Keith McCready is a living legend and his banter is second to none.It is apparent that he still has some embers burning in that fireplace.

The combatants may not want it streamed?

DCC is coming up soon.

White Diamonds will have another BIG CALCUTTA on the bar tables probably in March of next year.

AZB is looking up.

And that's what it's all about! The excitement to play, the never backing down from a challenge & raring to go; this will be a match to see

Keith,

We got James in action down here at the Cajun Classic this weekend. He will call you Monday and work out the details.
