Keith McCready lets play

Seems like this would be a perfect opportunity

Seems like this would be a perfect opportunity for a little friendly collaboration.

Accu-Stats and TAR come together for the match of the decade. Tar's mastery of the the Stream and Accu-Stats ability to mass produce...

Multiple cameras, mic'd players.... Maybe between the two of them the match could make it to DVD quicker as well. I just don't see why it would have to be an either/or.... I have bought just about EVERY stream/DVD TAR has produced but also appreciate everything Accu-Stats has done over the many years of their involvment and promotion of pool. I just want to see this thing go off!

If the logistics and available table time at the DCC are a problem, don't forget about that great arena all set up and ready to go at Comet Billiards. Professional lighting and multiple cameras, spectator seating high speed streaming are waiting for just such matches. You wouldn't have to worry about being limited to an hour or two of table time.

If I dont get to do some of the commentary on this match, I will kill myself on YouTube and blame the unsympathetic pool world. Think of the bad PR.

Fred if you don't let TAR stream your suicide I can't support it!

My one request is to schedule this match so that Keith & Jenny are at the DCC for the One Pocket HOF dinner Tuesday night, the 27th. You are both guaranteed to have an absolute blast.

If the DCC does not work out, Billy why don't you and Keith play at Grady's place.
It's not that far from Keith and Jam, and you know
the east coast fairly well.

Whomever can stream it (rooting for TAR)

OMG the list of folks to announce it would be great,
Freddy, (so he doesn't 86 himself) Grady, Billy can step it when he is waiting for Keith to let him back to the table.
it doesn't all have to happened at the DCC.

OMG just think of it as gamblers weekend at Grady's with
some real old time pool betting.

hugs to all

Where is Keith? Jam, the DCC is coming up in Jan.and Jack Cooney will be inducted into the One Pocket Hall Of Fame, and do you know what that means?? Of coarse you do, and it also means that Mark Betor will also be there, and he loves Keith. I know that Mark will put him into the box playing me One Pocket and I would love to play him. I think I can set it up to be taped by Accu Stats with some great commentary. We probably can play about 1 hr. to 1 1/2 hrs. a day for 3 or 4 days. Now that will be a very attractive video to market. And if he beats me he'll have plenty of bullets to play poker online. Lets try to get this done so we can have some fun. Not much time left for me to play ( 65 yrs. old ) so get him off the couch and into the pool room to start practicing.
1 hour a day, is this for anything substantial. This would be a fantastic match.

Great video Jam and this match needs to happen someway somehow, cause it won't get much better than this.--Leonard

why doesn't gabe play billy some(thats old vs new)

Great video- I thought that other short guy Jay Helfert, would have been in on the breaking lessons with Efren. But he must be breaking with T.Cohan, and the freezer-. Out in La. billy wants the big easy game. not happenning. mark

Well, reading this thread gives me a lot of good feelings, but I also have to say that all of us is putting a pressure on Keith, which I have no clue if it's OK or not for him....

I would love to see the match, I would buy the DVD/Video (independent of Accus or TAR), but I would do so if both players feels that this is something which they both enjoy and feel is a perfect opportunity to "show them self" at their "prime" (age that is) :)

Just some thoughts since Keith has not been answering to the thread, and I'm a fan of you both.

A Bump

Bump. I'm bumping to maybe get a response from the McCready side. Most of the considerations for Keith not to play have been addressed. Room, backers, DVDs, finances, chaperones, etc., etc. I for one am dying to see the kid again.

There is a slight possibility that I might even play you some bumps. Possibility.

Unfortunately, finances prevent Team McCready from attending this year's DCC. I sure wish things were different, but they ain't. I am also EXTREMELY uncomfortable accepting funds from others.

Last time Keith went to a tournament without me was not pleasant for our relationship. When Keith is in a casino environment, he seems to get his priorities mixed up. Those who have seen Keith up front and close in a casino environment should be well aware of what I am talking about.

Though the DCC is one of the BEST pool events of the year, there are a lot of distractions there, to include OCCUPATIONAL HAZARDS, hazards that are not good for Keith's overall health condition. He's been doing so well since September of 2006, I might add.

It is heart-warming to read that there are some kindred souls generously willing to donate monies and time to baby-sit Keith. :embarrassed2:

There's more problems associated with the decision not to attend this year's DCC than money and funding, however.

Word in Chicago is that Keith can't shoot his way out of a paper bag today. I can't wait for the day when this Chicago theory that continues to be disseminated around the country is proven wrong.

He's got to get out of the nest sooner or later, right?

All that needs to be said is... Keith won't be at the DCC this year.

Yes, but it won't be to dance like a monkey for others.

I don't understand this. He has a chance to make thousands of tax free dollars without putting any money up. How often does that opportunity present itself? Times can't be that hard if you guys are passing this up.
