All's well that ends well. I bet accustats is kicking themselves for not having this match on the TV table.
JAM said:In a word, yes.
what does that have to do with heart.JAM said:Oh, he does. Keith can bark and drum up action any place he steps foot in. You, on the other hand, I would liken to a dingo.
JAM said:I don't. I certainly do not. For what? To dance like a monkey for others to ridicule and rip apart? No, thank you. Welcome to the American pool world where pool is cruel to its own.

corvette1340 said:Jam, Who exactly is being cruel to Keith? I seem to remember a lot of good folks in AZ land that offered to send Keith to Derby city and pay for all his accomodations and entries including myself.
corvette134 said:I see nothing wrong with these types of debates because that is what makes different sports talks fun and interesting. I love getting into debates about who was better Nicklaus or Tiger. I personally think Tiger is because I played in some of the same tourneys as him as a junior and have closely followed his career. However, I've also watched every one of Jack's major wins and anyone from that era might beg to differ on the two.
Its a shame that discussions like this always turn into train wrecks.

Chris is simply stating his opinion that he feels Alex would have beaten Keith in both of their respective primes (a question that cannot ever truly be answered). I guess there was nothing wrong with all the people that said Keith would win because I don't see Alex's girlfriend on here raising hell about it.

JAM said:There's a reason Keith did not go to DCC, and the decision was made not based on money. You see, Corvette, there's more to life than money, and there's damn sure more to life than pool.
Yes, it is.

He simply stated that a very generous offer was made to Keith by the exact people you think hate him. Even if you don't want to believe it, almost everyone on this board loves Keith.

Well at least 11 players on Chris's list are World Champions. That's pretty strong no matter when or where you played. IMO.JAM said:Grow up. Do you even know how strong Buddy Hall played in his heyday, or Ronnie Allen, Jim Rempe, Nick Varner, Mike Sigel and Earl? And I'm just takling about tournament soldiers. There's a whole lot of world beaters who flew under the radar. As I said earlier, the tournament venues were only gathering spots for action men.
