Hello AZB community-
Many of you were aware that Kerry was hospitalized late last year for a complicated list of ailments. It is with great sorrow to write that at approximately 6:45 pm yesterday, Kerry passed away at Long Beach Memorial hospital, quietly and peacefully. I was at his side to see his final heartbeat on his EKG.

I've known Kerry since 1997 as a customer, a student, and as his dentist. One of the most important things I've learned from Kerry about this game was to end the inning on your own terms. I hope everyone reading this can do just that, whether it's one-pocket, or in daily life. I know he did.

Warmest Regards,
Kristian

Sorry to hear that. I met him a few years back in his shop and he seemed like a nice guy. My condolences to his friends and family.

Kerry has been doing my cues for the last couple years. I'm going to miss him cussing me out because I called before noon.

RIP Mr. Zeiler. You were indeed one of a kind. :thumbup2:
You will be missed.

RIP Kerry. My mentor and dear friend.
Thanks Kris.
God Bless.

This is very sad news. My condolances to his family.

I met Kerry at Best Billiards when I started shopping for a custom cue. He was generous with his time in introducing me to the 'buckhorn' hit. He let me hit several on the demo table at the store. I went a different direction cuewise-but always appreciated his friendly educational approach.

As stated-he was full of personality and a bit of a character-both real plusses in my book.

I join many in saying that he will be sorely missed.

I've had 2 cues from Kerry, and numerous phone conversations. He was a good guy, and will be missed.

May God be with his family and friends...

My deepest condolences to his family and friends...I know he was held in very high regard. Rest in peace Mr Zeiler, you will be missed.

A great man, both his talents and his character. He will be sorely missed here in the wilds of Southern California.

My deepest condolences to all of his friends and family; my prayers are with his spirit and all of you.

Pool has lost a great cuemaker and advocate. My heartfelt sympathies go out to his family. I am sorry for their loss.

Sorry to hear this. I met Kerry about 18 years ago. We were never tight buds but I'll surely miss him. My condolences to his family.

Deepest condolences...I remember joining the boards and coming across Zylr cues for the first time.

So beautiful, and so simple in their elegance. You could really see there was passion and thought that went into the timeless design of each of the ones I saw. So often I thought about calling him, and maybe having a cue made. I will forever regret not picking up that phone just to talk to the man.

RIP

This guy was one of my favorite cue makers of all time. What I know about him and his methods I have come to respect. I hope someday that I may be able to carry on some of his theories or maybe even take it to the next level. My condolences go out to his family. He will most certainly be missed. Very sad to hear, indeed.
