It is a very highly figured amboyna burl eight point cue with ivory joint and beautiful lizard wrap. The ring work is beautiful silver and is the only design of this type he has done. The cue was on display at Valley Forge and was highly praised by many well know cuemakers and collectors. It plays rock solid with a very quiet hit.
I don't have a lot of experience with Travis' cues, but I would consider Dave Kikel to be a 7 or 8 in terms of design, and probably a 9 on execution and playability
