I not asking him to do something for me. It is doing something for him.. To get him his $$$ back.. Your all right I was in the wrong here. If I would wait for every person that told me they were sending me money I would be waiting a long time on somethings.. Right BVal... Shit happens and it has happened and to make it go away this needs to happen.. LIFT THE CLAIM SO I can pay you.. If this don't happen i'm done with this transaction becasue I dont know what to do to protect me..
The point is you CAN LIFT THE CLAIM YOURSELF BY REFUNDING HIS MONEY THROUGH THE CLAIM PROCESS.

Very solid point and he has not addressed that yet. I am not picking sides here but he never addressed that. If Forney was trying to really scam, would he have not taken the Western Union money also?
It is MIDNIGHT where he is at.

If he's so worried at a instant refund from me via paypal. Why would he leave $270 hanging out a western union when he knows I could go get that too.. I just got off the phone with paypal again. She advised me NOT to settle this transaction outside of paypal.com. I will not be protected if I do.

Just let things play out. As long as the guy gets his money back...this thing will be square. Myself included...I think everyone just needs to step back with their opinions...and let this run its course.

If we can all agree it was a mistake in receiving payments from both individuals and clearing them to his checking account...and that after that fact there is open dialogue to remedy the situation (regardless of how out of hand/misconstued everything's gotten)...then I don't think there's much else that can be done at this point. PayPal is indeed the party in the middle of these two gentlemen...I have NO doubt...that they will know exactly the best way to resolve this issue. And in making that judgment...I'm sure JForney will do what is asked of him...and this other gentleman will get his money returned to him.

This is straight from PayPal.

"Buyers should be aware that sellers CAN refund a buyer in the dispute/claim process without the buyer having to close the dispute/claim, do NOT let a seller convince you to close it."

Now what. What is your lame ass excuse now? DO IT!

I guess I'm a dumb ass.. I was trying to it by clicking on the send money tab..

I KNOW I SAID I WAS DONE POSTING, BUT FOR THIS I HAD TO.....

YOU SERIOUSLY THINK YOU'RE NOT GONNA GET DUMPED ON FOR SAYING THIS AS YOUR REASON? PAYPAL WALKS YOU THROUGH THE REFUND PROCESS.

This thread is enfuriating. JForney you're not reading a single ****ing thing anyone is typing to you. You ****ed up, you fix it. You CAN PAY HIM BACK EVEN WITH YOUR ACCOUNT FROZEN. PAYPAL WILL ALLOW YOU TO REFUND HIM RIGHT NOW. Your funds will instantly transfer. GO TRY IT YOU IDIOT.

JForney, either you are grossly misunderstanding Paypal or misleading Monto. Stop claiming you cannot refund him due to an open claim. This is hogwash, pure and simple.

If you can't figure it out yourself, call Paypal. Within Paypal, click on "Contact Us" at the bottom of the page. Then, "Help By Phone - Service Center". They will assist you. Then Monto will get his money, the dispute will close, and life goes on.

Just post up a screenshot when you are done. So this thread can be gone but not forgotten.

Where's the apology?!

I agree! Montop2 is a nice and honest guy.. Despite all you've put him through, he is still behaving gentlemanly.. And you, JFORNEY36, are doing all the name calling and wild accusations! Don't forget that all this is YOUR mistake.. not his..

Couldn't all this have been avoided by the seller saying "sold pending payment..." and telling the low bidder, or other interested party, that should the deal fall through it is theirs?!?!?!?!?!!?

SUBDUDE, I dont know why you think you can start posting inflamatory comments and calling people out like this. JFORNEY started this mess. He is the one that accepted 2 offers for the cue and accepted payment from both. JFORNEY also admitted that he sought out the second offer in case the first one fell thru.
He has the cue and $2500 from both buyers. Monto generously stepped aside, and is asking for the money back, without asking about the fees involved or demanding him to honor their deal. And you have the gall to accuse Via who has a higher itrading rating than JFORNEY of being in cahoots with Monto. You have no right to be accusing anyone! You need to butt out and let them settle this because you are not helping this situation
First off, I didnt ACCUSE ANYONE of anything. I just made a comment that it was unusually coincidental that 2 people paid for the same cue in the same day. And to demand a western union money order while you have a paypal claim in progress doesnt help matters. As a seller, no way I do this. So get your facts straight before you start ranting about accusations. I dont know via, and no offense to him, but not to worried about it. I didnt say that they were in cahoots, but merely very coincidental.

Paypal can't refund you what's not in his account. He already withdrew the funds, sir. That's the point here. He's trying to add money back to his PayPal account, so that he can PAY you. You're not helping yourself here. HE NEEDS YOU TO REMOVE THE DISPUTE, SO FUNDS CAN BE ADDED TO THE ACCOUNT, AND YOU CAN GET PAID. He can't add or remove funds currently. He's not trying to take your money. He already has it. All he wants to do is give it back.
Exactly. That is the problem with Paypal. If someone withdraws the money, then there really is no way to get it back. And, just to set the record straight, not calling anyone a scammer, liar or thief, just pointing out the coincidence of purchase. But after reading JF's response earlier about how it happened, I can easily see it. Good luck to you Monto, hope you get your cash back and hope you find the cue you have been looking for.

Good Morning Everyone

Its morning here.

No sign of my money.still waiting and hoping to get my money back.:o

Getting sick and tired of seeing this thread!

Monto, no offense Sir......you paid him the only money he's received apparently  and you sent him the majority of the funds (which he's received) via PayPal.

Now, this here ain't rocket science, you filed a claim with PayPal which freezes his account that doesn't let him doing anything until you lift the claim.

So, you aint' going to get paid anything if you don't lift this claim to allow him to be able to use the account to refund your $$$......I've read this too many times -- yeah I know -- you don't like it!?

Get over it Monto, the best you can hope for is that you get your money back -- if not what else are you going to do!? This has been a weird deal from what I've read but, I'm getting tired of hearing the same BS over and over and over again.

Somebody make a move.....it probably needs to be you Monto -- pretty weird to send partial payment via PayPal and then send the balance via Western Union without somebody agreeing to this upfront.

Just my $.03 but this thread needs to go away until it's resolved. Via knows me and can tell you I'm a straight shooter -- sorry for your troubles, Ken :)
