I spent 20 minutes trying two of the shots on this thread.
Up to minute 11 is the way Mohrt diagrammed. From 11:20 on is the way JJ diagramed.
Some of them became battles against myself, lol. I'll admit the way Mohrt diagrammed was more difficult to execute in such a way not to leave an easy return. It might be my skill level (high C to low B). I think if both balls weren't frozen, the shot would work a lot better, because it would have been less likely to leave both balls parallel and on the rail after the shot.
JJ's shot worked great the more I tried it. I even made it once or twice. The first couple times I hit it I got a double kiss. But as I learned the hit, it came closer to banking in the hole, and even went once or twice. Even with the double kiss, it worked out well.
Anyway, it was fun to try. I feel I learned a lot from both shots.
