Here is the latest cue I have completed for a local customer. The cue was converted from a 1920's Brunswick One Piece House cue that was what I believe to be some type of Mahogany. The joints rings are Pearlized Plastic, in fact it is the same material used in the Palmer's. The cue butt is a combination of Pearlized rings, Macassar Ebony, with a Geometric Ring design in the center of the cues Butt.

Let me know what you think!!

I like it. I think I would have picked a different wrap though. I have cues with blk/wht linen but just does not seem right on this one.

Thanks for everyones comments, I agree that a different wrap could have been used, however, it is what the customer wanted, and all I can say is the customer was very happy.

Take Care

Thank you for sharing the pictures Craig. But they really don't do the cue justice imao ;)

This cue was built for a friend of mine so I actually had the opportunity to see it in person and to hit with it. This cue is absolutely gorgeous in person and it plays even more beautifully. The unique taper along with the secret ferrule and phenolic joint provide a solid and not overly stiff hit. It does everything you want on demand with little effort. I can't wait to get mine :

It's a great looking, and I'll bet a great playing, player cue. Congratulations.

I need a cue like that, sweet

Thanks for your comments Tommy, tell you what, I can't wait to get the cue cases that I am having built by Rusty, and Mr. Clements, now for me that will really be sweet.:)

Interesting

Bushka meets bluegrass. I saw a checker design in a BG before...reminded me of that and all that MOP...

Is it still a full splice cue if it has been cut & extended at the butt?

That is a good point Slim, I don't think it is really a full splice, however the orginal part of the cue is 25 inch's long with the last 4 inches being added. Maybe it can be called an extended short splice, either way the cue hits as solid as any full splice cue that can be built.

Thanks for your comments Slim.

Thanks for your comments Paul, the design I used in this cue was designed to have a Native American accent. I like to be different and one thing about designs is that they are limitless, for me personally a great deal of thought go's into all my designs. Like everyone else some designs work and balance is achieved, and some designs are not exactly what I want or pictured when finished, but I am never dissatisfied. I learn from my misstakes, so they are certainly as important as any success I feel I have achieved. But this is all part of growth and with ever design and cue I build, I learn something new and truly appreciate how lucky I am to be able to do what I love to do.

Take care Paul
