Just saw that Lee Brett just beat Ralph Souquet on the hill. Thats quite a win for the Englishman and can only boost his career as an instructor. Well done Lee, hope you keep it going buddy.

A kick in the pants for those who have said the guy can't play. I know on any given day.....

No matter if I am right in my own PERSONAL thinking on instructors, I am a "Show me" kinda guy and want to know that an instructor can actually compete (Again, many will disagree) However Lee Brett "Showed me today" As the previous poster said "On any given day" Still I could have a year of any given days and still not beat ralph a race to 11.
 
Lee has a ton of talent, I have watched the guy play a little in Vegas and he can beat anyone at any given time. I just think most people have not seen him play. Right now I am watching Mario He a relative unknown here playing Rodney, he is leading 4-2. Plenty of unknown players out there who are world beaters. Great job Lee!
 
This is a very big upset!! lee is a great potter and makes everything he can see but as for playing shape and knowing the game, not that strong.
 
Mentioned Lee earlier today. I dont think its an upset because I believe Lee can REALLY play against anybody. He just hasnt been out there yet. Way to go Lee!!! You will go very deep in this one and I like your odds :grin:

I saw him play in the eurotour and I was very impressed with his game...

Hate to tell you Sammy but his play was good enough all around to beat Ralf today. Its tough to say anything about his game today.
