Lee .....more Clothes Or Less

On the other hand,one of the best pics of her I've ever seen was the one where she's standing in the doorway of Betmore's basement,wearing a sweater and jeans. I'm all for a little skin showing, but I just think that Jeannette's wardrobe choices can be a little "off" at times. I've seen a few of her older TV matches recently, and there is one where she is wearing a see-through blouse that isn't attractive at all - at least it isn't complimentary to her figure. She tends to look better in things that are more form-fitting. I think she could stand to let a little of her waist show as well.
Then there's the match where she was wearing tall heels, and a low-cut blouse that was so lightweight and flimsy that the weight of the micophone kept pulling it down. She ate up a good portion of her shot clock messing with it, and ended up rushing her shot and losing a game. I'd think that the tall heels would throw her stance off a little bit too - she appeared to be unsteady on them.
All of this brings up a pet peeve of mine. What's with these wimmins that wear alla those nasty, low-cut, nip-slip shirts, then are constantly tugging at them?

i know lee is an awesome player and deserves respect but i would rather people like her for her skill to kick any guys butt rather than having more boobs showing than allison or who ever she is playing. i know when i play that i'm always aware of my shirt choice and if my boobs are showing. i have a little bit more class and self respect for myself and my boyfriend than to let my opponent see my goods or whatever you wanna call it. before she started wearing the more showy clothes, she still looked good. you dont have to show what you have to look good....leave something to the imagination!

Never thought Jenette dressed trashy myself, certinally not too skimpy. However I have have the occassion a few times to watch her play in person a few times and had to cringe at the way she moved on the high heels! Made me think one day she may have to be carried out on a stretcher. Great performer, both on the table and for the audiance.

i knocked the balls around with her and her friend when she was just starting out, I played much better than her at the time, it was in reno at the one pocket tournment that Ed Kelly won in the earily 90's. Tooth and Toby were playing 4 ahead for $10,000 a few tables away, we were just playing a ring game-no $$$$, she wanted to gamble and I didnt have a dollar-I was flat back then. She was totally cool about not gambling and the 3 of us played for about 2 hours then her friend left, this is when she was dating Bobby Hunter. We played another hour or something like that, she was very nice, we talked and played serious in spots, we both had fun, it got to be around 4am and I havent spoke to her again.

I remember the controversy surrounding Jeanette Lee's Ad in Billiards Digest's July 1998 and whether or not it was TOO sexy. It's on page 117.
Ms. Lee laughed at all the hoopla about that Ad and was kind enough to autograph that picture for me at the BCA Show in Orlando, FL.

Now THAT was on target.
I personally feel that her dress and demeanor are VERY professional and elegant. Judging from her popularity and her number of sponsors and endorsements; I can only assume I am in the majority. In fact I will hazard a guess that she is the most influential player in the WPBA; I think many of the younger players are aspiring to follow her example. None of the charities for which she works tirelessly seem to have objected to her wardrobe.
