Personally I'm not in a position to take advantage of it, but I think it sounds like a fair deal. Essentially 100 bucks an hour, a fair price for instructions from a pro. There is the additional expense of a plane trip though, which could be a big consideration for some.

Great idea.

John

Just out of curiosity what airport would you be picking up the participants?
In addition I think this is a great idea and hopefully a wonderful oppurtunity for yourself and many students.

Nice idea, I wish I was close enough to head there. Spending some days (even hours) with a pro is something I have not had a chance to do but would love to.

How much if we don't want the lessons? I just want to live with you for a weekend:D

I hope you will keep this offer open as I have too many vacations booked right now.

Lessons without the extras

Hey John, I live within 30 miles of you. Do you have an hourly rate, or some sort of day package, without the extras?

hi

I picture Easy running into John's bedroom at night saying, "I'm your #1 fan!" like in the movie Misery!

Great idea John. I would make one suggestion though. You may want to incorporate different packages for different levels of play from the clients.

Meaning that it may benefit some to cover fundamentals, but, maybe others are further advanced and would like to learn advanced techniques.

This would make your offer desirable to all types of players. JMO..;)

I think it's a great idea John. For the student. YOU, may live to regret it :p . Good luck...Tom

John, I hope you will be passing on the things you learned from Bobby Hunter that helped you improve as fast as you did in your younger days. Will we be leaving with handouts or drills related to the lessons? My wife and I both play, would we both get instruction for the $1000?

I'd like for Mikey and me to come up and stay with you for the weekend too! :) BTW, I am on a straight pool league now and just beat one of the top players here, 125-52. He had to spot me 35 points, but still...!

I think it is a wonderful idea for you to pursue. Paul Potier has been doing the same thing, and also, Pool School in Paradise with Allison, Gerda and Mike Massey. They have some extra-curricular activities and tours they do as well. You might want to ask some of them. Paul called and told me he is retiring from pool, so you might want to see what is happening with his Pool School.

I wish you the best with your new endeavor.

Linda

Very Ballsy Invitation John,,,,,,,,

Nothing Like Having ''pool Stalkers'' Over For The Weekend,,,,,,,

Could Be A Wild Scenario For A Steven King Novel.......''when Pool Players Attack''

Hope You Have A Couple Of Pit Bulls At Your Place !!

But,,nonetheless,,a Cool Vacation !!

Great Idea ...

Great Idea ... I would be interested living in South East Georgia about 30 mins north of Valdosta... I would probably be able to drive down if that is cool... I have started teaching my son but I can take a lesson or two also from a pro... If you do do this I would be very interested...

Hey John,

Sounds like a great idea, although it may take quite a bit of planning to schedule available week-ends for both yourself and anyone wishing to take you up on your offer, I know it would be for me as I travel quite a bit with my job and I would be interested.
