Hello everyone

As many of you know Joe is working on his 3rd dvd . Well last night I was lucky enough to get a sneak preview :) Not a preview of the dvd as its not done yet I got a lesson from Joe himself . I'm sure we didn't cover every thing on the dvd but what he showed me was great and I can't wait for the dvd to come out . Joe is going Wednesday to film some more of his 3rd dvd and it should be done soon .

One thing for sure is after you learn Joe's clock system and Joe's language you will start to learn and catch on much faster . I remember when I first started taking lessons from Joe he would tell me hit this shot at 12 - 2 or 6 - 3 and it would take a many try's for me to hit the shot correctly . Last night Joe set up shots to be covered on the next dvd and told me where to hit and I made most shots on the first attempt . So as you learn to understand the systems and language you will learn at a faster rate .

Joe's next dvd should be out soon do your self a huge favor and get all the Pool Iq dvd's .

Joe's resume of former and current champions in this area is a testament to his knowledge and his way of teaching. I'm sure his next DVD will do as well if not better than his previous ones. I'm sure I'll probably get one.

a couple of tidbits

what does the 3rd dvd cover?

No guarantees, this was from the planning stages but Joe planned to add to his earlier DVD's concerning hits on more direct cuts, lesser angles than he has shown thus far. He also shows a way to draw the cue ball in exactly the direction you want to. I'm sure there will be more also but Joe and I talked about these things awhile back.

I'll be buying anything Joe puts out, his DVD's are that good.

Joe and I go back to 1988 we hustle bars together for a brief moment, and like a dumb azz I didnt continue on with him.

His first 2 videos are fantastic. the production quality is fair-but who cares? the information on those DVD's is priceless. He so easy to understand, comes across in a pleasant way, not to fast or slow. His work is top notch. I'm buying the 3rd one soon as possible, and everyone else should as well.

GLad to see it happen too, i was hopeing he was going to do more, he could do 10 if he had the energy, he is one of the smartest players i have ever met over the years.

I've been waiting for this for some time. Joe's instruction and DVD's are invaluable. If this one expounds on the Clock as Iowa Player says and adds other techniques like controlled draw Like ShootingArts mentions I think I'm gonna send some cash now.

I just left the Quads shoulda stopped in for a visit. Darn!!

Joe I'll be looking you up in a month.

Thanks for all your efforts.

I can't tell you what the entire DVD will cover, but Joe gave me a preview about a year ago of some ideas he wants to convey in the new DVD. He wanted to present tricky situations that can be disected easily IF YOU HAVE THE KNOWLEDGE.

Joe showed me a tricky little situation that can really put you in a trap if you don't know how to properly tackle it. The less-knowledgable player will end up failing & be forced to play safe where the learned player will easily side-step the trap & run out.

These are the bits of knowledge that take you to the next level. Which sounds smarter: (1) playing for a few decades to learn these principles --or-- (2) buying Joe's DVDs & learning them in minutes?

alstl: There's a reason the people in this area are VERY good at kicking. The majority have learned Joe's 2 & 3-rail kicking systems. It's tough to get BIH now...

takes a little longer but . . .

It does take a little longer than a few minutes to learn the things on Joe's DVD's but I was definitely of two minds when I saw the first two. Great stuff and I needed a refresher after being away from pool for twenty years. On the other hand Joe was just handing people for a few dollars what I had hit a million balls to learn.

It won't happen but if all pool players bought Joe's DVD's and spent 20-30 hours really learning and understanding what is on them the overall level of pool play would jump several hundred percent. That is just talking about the first two, at least one more to come!

I've got the first two and have also spent many hours on the phone with Joe, he is a tremendous man of integrity and wisdom.. His knowledge is worth far more to me than he charges.. I would highly recommend his first two, and I can't wait for the third.

I think I'll dig the first two out for a refresher before the third one comes along.. I cannot wait.. Thanks to Joe V, whom I consider a friend.

Where do I get them?

I'm now retired, and planning to work on my game a bit. Where would a person pick up Joe's first two vids?
