i have a invention for pool, that i have just protyped.

If anyone knows of any investors that would be interested in my invention. I will take care of you after the deal.

Sorry i will not discuss the invention. This has been something i have worked on the last 3 years.

I will say about 50% of pool players in the world will buy my invention.

I can fully understand you not wanting to get ripped off for your invention, but I think you
will find it most difficult to get someone to toss you enuff money blindly without some type of guarantee.

Some things are just best done by yourself.

I'm still working on a new league rule where women have to wear low cut jeans and whale tail thongs. Well, some would and some wouldn't have to.

Well, it begs the question: How much?
 
Anyone who's interested in investing can contact the guy and presumably sign a non-disclosure agreement to actually learn what it is.

To the OP: If you haven't already done it, start the patent application yesterday. Those things are horrible to write and take forever to get awarded.
 
having been thru the patent process and TWO patent attorneys, with an outlay of more than $100,000.....I think it best you pretend you never thought of it unless you have money to burn and have 2 years or more to kill...........

Save your money. Patents are not so hot if you don't have enough to produce your thing, you don't have enough to fight it in courts.

Just make the thing and get it out there first and market it best.

Why would you want an investor? If it is a good idea and you have confidence in it go for it. If you need money borrow it from a family member if you have to. As far as I am concerned, one partner is one to many.
 
Invention

Make a drawing of your invention have it notarized and send it registered mail to yourself. Don't open the letter. Little protection is better than none at all, Hope you sell a million.

There isn't one single invention today that 50% of the pool players share in this industry from one single manufacture, so I'd pass on providing them kind of figures in talking to someone about investing.

If you're serious, you should at least give a category. For example, improved cue, improved bridge, rack, training device, tip, wrap, case, new game, cleaner, table or other equipment.

There are new products to be developed in pool. Despite some of the irrational numbers I see thrown around, very few would generate much profit in my opinion.

Here are some items that 100% of all pool players need to use, in no particular order:

1/ Pool cue
2/ Chalk
3/ Leather tips
4/ Cue case (99%)
5/ Pool Table

Besides these items, I cannot think of anything else that even 25% of all pool players need to have/use.
