I am looking for any Runde Series Schon cues. Must have Stich ring joint collars. If the cue is pointed the points must be sharp. Not interested in CNC'd cues. I have cash if the price is right or I can make you a faverable trade into any of my cues. Please send me what you have either via PM or email at thoennes@netzero.net

Hey, too bad we can't send you to Koinkid (Troy). Because he always has the best deals on Schon cues.:D

Troy is a stand-up guy and great to deal with! You cant go wrong dealing with him he's very fair with his trades as well!:ok:

A friend of mine showed me a schon he bought the other day for $300. Turns out its a original R-16 . I tried to get it but he isnt selling,,some guys have all the luck!!

Still looking. I am supprised not to see more cues coming up for sale in this economy. Please PM me if you have anything. Thanks Troy

I have sent several PM's with no response.

I did respond to your message. Show your "serious" collectors, that you mentioned in the PM, the pics and make a serious offer. I'm not trying to be rude, but what part of "make me an offer" is everyone having trouble understanding? If I cant get what I believe they are worth they will continue living happy lives inside George cases.

No trades, ca$h offer. If you are a fan of old Schons you know what they are worth.

All three are non catalog stitch ring Runde Schons. I would be surprised if they are one of a kind but I have never seen other cues like them. Ive seen boatloads of nice R12s, quite a few R8s a handful of R13 R14 R15 and R16s. NONE LIKE THESE. In my opinion they are top tier loaded Runde Schons. It does not get better.

All have one original shaft with micarta ferrule. All are heavy old cues. I dont have a scale and it doesnt matter old cues are heavy.

Barbell cue is original with the expected dents, dings and scratches. In decent shape. I like it as is. 12.5 shaft

Middle cue - 2 groups of 4 ivory diamonds between 2 ivory windows, was refinished Dec 08 by Schon. Two of the ebony rings in the butt were cracked. You cant tell it was ever worked on. Schon replaced the buttcap. I still have the original durlin cap it had a dark patch on it. The dark patch didnt bother me and if I keep it I will probably have it reattached some day. I believe it belongs on the cue. They did a wonderful job faster than they said they would. HUGE THUMBS UP! 13.0 shaft

Bottom cue - 4 large ivory diamonds, was refinished by Scott Sherbine of proficient billiards in Fall 06 ish. I have no respect for him and was EXTREMELY unhappy with the results. Ive looked at pics of other cues he refinished posted here with one of the same defects that irked me. Everyone here loves Scott so I must be crazy. It is in the same condition as the day I got it back. Razor thin 11.4 shaft, 2 pre-China predator 30 inch dash ring shafts with Scotts idea of a pilot.

I am not a broke crackhead gambler. This recession is a great time to be in the auto repair business. If you are a serious buyer make a serious offer or wait till the estate sale after my death.

Thanks, Matt

Maybe if you're really lucky my widow will be using them to stake tomatoes in the garden and you can trade her some dowel rods for them .

Because if you know what you want for them just say "what you believe they're worth". People don't want to pay more than they have to for an item. It's your item you make the price. People just get tired of these games.

Troy,

I just sent a message to Bill Loucks to look at this thread. I don't know if he has any for sale but he has a large collection.

Tap...Tap...I agree! If selling something you know what your price range is.When someone like Troy ''KOINNKID'' shops for something and says he has serious buyers with his reputation as well as iTrader points you'd have to believe him.I just think if some who looking to sell would be more straight forward in pricing more things may get sold much faster and easier.Just my two cents!

Wow, with that sales pitch I don't know how he's resisting jumping all over your cues. The man doesn't know what they are worth to you until you tell him.
