So enlighten us -- what's it like playing for such high stakes?

I've never even been staked for 20 bucks so I can't imagine what it would be like being staked for so much.

Inquiring minds would like to know or do you not gamble at all?

I still don't see the problem with Lou having backers. I guess that 90% of people betting that kind of money are using a backer. Lou has stated that he has a stake in it himself, as to who the other backers are, don't really see where that's anyones business but Lou's.

For the record, I don't agree with a lot of what Lou has said about aiming systems. But, I also think he has the best in this matchup. I feel that for John to even make this bet in the first place based on an aiming systems merit was ill advised, but, it's John's money and he's free to put it where he wants to.

I have no problem with people having backers. I just don't have to deal with the emotion of playing on other people's money.
 
I still expect that Lou will try to complain about the choice of table or the live stream
still before the match gets started, we shall see.

Nope. I don't know who you are and I really don't care.

I do know that you have voiced your opinion several times about how you think gambling in pool is a bad thing and I think your arguments had some merit. I don't remember all the specifics about the conversion, but I do remember reading it. So I found it a bit odd that someone that looked down upon gambling would all of a sudden ridicule someone for not going about it the right way.

For me, the credit always belongs to the man that is in the arena. In this instance, that will be BOTH Lou and JB.

I hope they both play their best.
 
The last thing NYC has to do is explain himself to anyone in this thread. He's done more for pool than all of the posters in this thread duct-taped together.

There is lots of us that do not know what NYCs real name is. Why waste time acting like he is a celeb and just tell us what his name is, then we may know who he is and what hes done.
